To Order (MTO).
terlambat sehingga perlu dioutsourcingkan.
efisien. Penjadwalan aktual hanya menyelesaikan 59% pesanan tepat waktu sedangkan
penjadwalan usulan menyelesaikan 76% pesanan tepat waktu. Penjadwalan usulan

ABSTRACT
CV Artex Indonesia is a garment manufacturing industry that produces shirts,
suits, jackets, and vests based on customer demand using the Make To Order (MTO)
approach. CV Artex Indonesia employs flowshop scheduling because each product goes
through the same machines. The company’s main priority is to fulfill orders on time. In
case of delays, orders are outsourced to a third party at an outsourcing cost of Rp 5,000
per product. In February 2023, a total of 4 delayed orders were outsourced, resulting in a
total outsourcing cost of Rp 1,580,000 for 316 products.
The issue was addressed by scheduling using a proposed method, which is a
combination of the Campbell, Dudek, Smith (CDS) method and the Earliest Due Date
(EDD) method. The CDS scheduling results still had some delayed orders, which were then
resolved by rescheduling using the Earliest Due Date (EDD) priority. Through the
rescheduling using EDD, there were still delayed orders that needed to be outsourced.
The scheduling results indicate that the proposed scheduling is more effective and
efficient. The actual scheduling only fulfilled 59% of the orders on time, while the proposed
scheduling fulfilled 76% of the orders on time. The proposed scheduling resulted in a 37%
reduction in outsourcing costs compared to what was originally anticipated.
