berjudul Like and Share yang menceritakan secara detail tentang fenomena kekerasan

ABSTRACT
Dating violence is one of the phenomena that concerns Indonesian society. Women are
often victims of dating violence. The number of cases of violence against women in
dating based on data from Komnas Perempuan, as well as those found in various news
reports, is one of the reasons the Indonesian film world presents a controversial film
entitled Like and Share which tells in detail about the phenomenon of violence against
women in dating relationships. This research aims to find out the form of
representation in the film related to the phenomenon of violence in dating
relationships, using the semiotic theory of Roland Barthes which explains the concepts
of denotation, connotation, and myth. In this 1 hour 52 minute movie, researchers
found 7 scenes that depict cases of dating violence. This research also uses a
qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of this study show that the
form of representation of violence against women in dating relationships in Like and
Share is displayed by the presence of signs in the form of dialog between characters,
character expressions, settings and atmosphere that describe actions that are threats,
coercion, rape, and violation of character privacy. In addition, the representation of
violence is also displayed with scenes that show the helplessness of women as victims,
as well as the patriarchal culture of the perpetrators against the victims.
