Abstract

ABSTRAK
UD. Hikmah Barokah merupakan usaha yang bergerak dibidang roster
beton yang terletak di Jl. Nusa Indah Dsn Tegal, Sidoarum, Godean, Sleman,
Yogyakarta. Permintaan roster yang cukup tinggi dan keterbatasan kemampuan
produksi maka diperlukannya adanya perancangan alat untuk mengatasi
permasalahan tersebut dengan memperhatikan kebutuhan pengguna dan ukuran
tubuh pekerja dalam mendesain alat.
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode HURIE dengan
mempertimbangkan kebutuhan pengguna dan evaluasi secara langsung dari
professional yang memahami penggunaan suatu produk secara menyeluruh.
Perancangan alat dimulai dengan penentuan fungsi desain, penentuan dimensi alat,
mendesain alat press roster, menjelaskan sistem kerja alat, pemilihan penggunaan
bahan, dan menghitung biaya yang dibutuhkan. Alat press roster yang sudah dibuat
kemudian dilakukan pengujian.
Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perancangan alat press roster dapat
meningkatkan produktivitas sebesar 40 % dengan output standar sebelum
perancangan sebesar 10 unit/jam menjadi 14 unit/jam sehingga dengan adanya
perancangan alat press roster ini dapat memberikan pengaruh positif yang mana
mampu meningkatkan produktivitas. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dikembangkan
lebih lanjut pada pengembangan produk secara lebih baik dan terperinci.

ABSTRAK
UD. Hikmah Barokah is a business engaged in concrete roster located on
Jl. Nusa Indah Dsn Tegal, Sidoarum, Godean, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The demand
for the roster is quite high and the production capacity is limited, so it is necessary
to design a tool to overcome these problems and pay attention to the needs of the
user and the size of the worker's body in designing the tool.
This research was conducted using the HURIE method by considering user
needs and direct evaluation from professionals who fully understand the use of a
product. The design of the tool begins with determining the design function,
determining the dimensions of the tool, designing the press roster, explaining the
working system of the tool, selecting the use of materials, and calculating the
required cost. The press roster tool that has been made is then tested.
The result of this research is that the design of the press roster tool can
increase productivity by 40% with the standard output before the design of 10
units/hour to 14 units/hour so that the design of the press roster tool can have a
positive influence which can increase productivity. This research is expected to be
further developed in product development in a better and more detailed manner.
