Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mengambil judul tentang Analisis Semiotika Makna Pesan Hegemoni Video Klip Rammstein “America” . Tema ini di angkat dengan latarbelakang bahwa simbol- simbol yang terdapat di dalam video klip “America” begitu beragam dan berada di kehidupan sehari-hari, mulai dari teknologi, ma kanan dan gaya berpakaian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui makna yang te rkandung dalam video klip Rammstein yang berjudul “America” . Jenis penelitian ini adalah penel itian kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis semiotika Ferdinand De Saussure yang meletakkan tanda dalam konteks komunikasi dengan melakukan pemilahan antara apa yang disebut sign (tanda), signifier (penanda), signified (petanda), signification (signifikasi) dan menggunakan te ori Hegemoni dari Antonio Gramsci. Data yang diperoleh berasal dari da ta primer maupun data sekunder. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari video klip Rammstein ”America” , wawancara, dokumentasi, dan kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna hegemoni yang terkandung dalam video klip “America” dari band Rammstein adalah bagaimana Amerika Serikat mampu menguasai negara-negara lain dengan kekuata nnya yang begitu besar, baik dalam hal teknologi, ekonomi, budaya ataupun militer. Ma syarakat di dunia sangat sulit untuk terlepas dari produk-produk dan gaya hidup asing. Denga n begitu pihak yang sangat di untungkan dalam segi materi adalah Amerika Serikat. ABSTRACT The tittle of this study is a Hegemony Semiotics Analys is Message of The Video Clips Rammstein “America” . This theme is in the lift with a background that the symbols contained in the video clip "America" is so diverse and are in everyday life, ranging from technology, food and style of dress. This study ai ms to determine the meaning contained in the video clip Rammstein's "America" . The type of this research is a qualitative research approach to the analysis of th e semiotics of Ferdinand de Saussure put a sign in the context of communication by making the distin ction between what is called a sign , the signifier , signified , signification and using the Hegemony Theory of Antonio Gramsci. Data obtained from the primary data and secondary data. The co llection of data obtained from the video clip Rammstein "America", interviews, documentation, and literature. The results showed that the hegemony of meaning contained in the video clip "America" from the band Rammstein is how the United States were able to control other countries with enormous power, both in terms of technological, economic, cultural or military. Community in the world is very difficult to get rid of the products and foreign lif estyle. That way the party is in the profitable in terms of matter is the United States
