Abstract
CV Dwi Jasa Logam merupakan salah satu industri manufaktur yang bergerak di bidang pengecoran logam dan berlokasi di daerah Ceper, Klaten. Produk yang diproduksi oleh usaha ini berupa komponen-komponen mesin beton molen. Pada proses produksinya, unit usaha ini seringkali mengalami keterlambatan pemenuhan pesanan, hal tersebut dikarenakan persediaan bahan baku yang digunakan yakni rosok besi cor mengalami out of stock atau kekurangan. Pada bulan Juni 2017 terdapat pesanan sebanyak 600 set produk dengan jumlah pengadaan bahan baku kurang lebih sebesar 6 ton. Oleh karena itu diperlukan perencanaan persediaan bahan baku rosok besi cor guna menghindari adanya out of stock namun tetap dengan biaya persediaan yang minimal. Penentuan ukuran pemesanan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Silver Meal. Langkah penentuan ukuran untuk setiap pemesanan dengan metode Silver Meal ini dilakukan dengan cara trial, namun tetap dengan mempertimbangkan biaya persediaan minimal yang harus dikeluarkan oleh perusahaan. Trial dilakukan hingga mencapai optimal ketika biaya persediaan yang harus dikeluarkan telah mencapai minimal dibandingkan sebelumnya. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh perencanaan persediaan bahan baku rosok besi cor ini telah memperhatikan ketersediaan safety stock dalam usaha ini minimal sebanyak 146,146 Kg, reorder point dilakukan ketika persediaan dalam gudang telah mencapai kurang lebih sebesar 1031,17 Kg dan ukuran pemesanan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan bahan baku yang dibutuhkan serta dengan biaya persediaan yang minimal. Hasil dari perencanaan persediaan bahan baku rosok besi cor ini dapat dilihat pada tabel MRP seperti yang ada pada Tabel 4.7. The products produced by this industry are components of molen concrete machines. In the production process, this industry often experiences of delay in fulfilling orders, this is because the supply of raw materials used namely cast iron rails has a out of stock or shortage. In June 2017 there were orders for 600 sets of products with a total procurement of raw materials approximarely 6 tons. Therefore, it is necessary to plan for cast iron raw material supplies to avoid the out of stock but still with minimal inventory costs. The determination of lot sizing in this study was carried out using the silver meal method. The step in determination of lot sizing for each order with the silver meal method is done by trial, but still by considering the minimum inventory costs that must be spent by the company. Trials were carried out until they were optimum when the cost of inventory to be spent has reached a minimum compared to before. In this study, the planning of the cast iron raw material inventory has taken into account the availability of safety stock in this company of at least 146,146 Kg, reorder point is done when inventory in the warehouse has reached approximately 1031,17 Kg and lot sizing according to raw material requirements needed and with minimum inventory costs. The results of the planning of raw materials for cast iron can be seen in the MRP table as shown in Table 4.7.
