Abstract
PT. Pamapersada Nusantara is one of coal mining contractor trusted by
PT. Kideco Jaya Agung as the holder of the Coal Mining Concession Working
Agreement or PKP2B in coal mining. PT. Kideco Jaya Agung located in Batu
Sopang Sub-district Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province. The study sites
are in the pds SMD-2. The mining system applied is an open pit system.
PT. Pamapersada Nusantara set an overburden production target of 965 BCM / h
in the SMD-2 pit. Mining process of overburden material using mechanical device
1 unit Hitachi EX2500-6 Excavator serving 7 units of Komatsu HD 785-7 Dump
Truck for SMD-2 pit with distance 3.7 km to disposal. With the match factor of
matching equipment and transportation equipment of 0.86
The problems that occur are the unmet fulfillment of production from the cargo
and conveyance equipment so that the production targets have not been reached,
especially in the SMD-2 pit. Current production capability is 913,154 BCM / h for
SMD-2 pit. Not achieving production targets due to the large amount of wasted
work time due to work barriers both avoidable obstacles and unavoidable
obstacles. With these barriers will minimize effective working time causing low
work efficiency.
Factors affecting overburden production, ie, the effective work time of loading
and hauling tools, and the efficiency of loading and transport equipment.
Efforts to increase production can be done by increasing the effective time of
work, work time is available so that its production increased from 913.154 BCM /
hour to 972,516 BCM / hour.
To be able to achieve production objectives should be supervised on the work time
that has been set to prevent barriers that occur during the work and the need for
the standard calculation of time barriers so as to facilitate control.
