Abstract

Improving the quality of human resources has become a necessity and the
demands of organizations and individuals who manned the organization. This is
certainly required a high commitment to realize the mission and vision of the
organization.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of transformational leadership,
organizational climate, individual characteristics, through job satisfaction on
organizational commitment.
The research was conducted at the Military Academy, the respondents who used as
many as 105 teaching staff (lecturers / gumil), using StructuralEquation Modeling
(SEM).
The results: There was a significant effect of transformational leadership on
organizational commitment through job satisfaction of educators (Gumil / Lecturer)
Military Academy in Magelang.
There was no significant influence of organizational climate on organizational
commitment through job satisfaction of educators (Gumil / Lecturer) Military Academy
in Magelang.
There was no significant influence of individual characteristics on organizational
commitment through job satisfaction of educators (Gumil / Lecturer) Military Academy
in Magelang.

Peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia sudah menjadi kebutuhan dan tuntutan
dari organisasi maupun individu yang mengawaki organisasi tersebut. Hal ini tentunya
diperlukan komitmen yang tinggi untuk mewujudkan misi maupun visi organisasi.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh kepemimpinan
transformasional, iklim organisasi, karakteristik individu, melalui kepuasan kerja terhadap
komitmen organisasional.
Penelitian ini dilakukan di Akademi Militer, responden yang digunakan sebanyak 105
tenaga pendidik (dosen/gumil), menggunakan StructuralEquation Modeling (SEM).
Hasil penelitian: Ada pengaruh signifikan kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap
komitmen organisasional melalui kepuasan kerja tenaga pendidik (Gumil/Dosen) Akademi
Militer di Magelang.
Tidak ada pengaruh signifikan iklim organisasi terhadap komitmen organisasional melalui
kepuasan kerja tenaga pendidik (Gumil/Dosen) Akademi Militer di Magelang.
Tidak ada pengaruh signifikan karakteristik individu terhadap komitmen organisasional melalui
kepuasan kerja tenaga pendidik (Gumil/Dosen) Akademi Militer di Magelang.
