Abstract

SALSABILA PUTRI INDRASWARI. 2022. Analisis Pengendalian Kualitas
Cerutu Menggunakan Statistic Quality Control (SQC) di PT. Taru Martani
Yogyakarta. Di bawah arahan Antik Suprihanti dan Ni Made Suyastiri YP.
ABSTRAK
PT Taru Martani merupakan salah satu pabrik pengolahan hasil tembakau tertua
di Yogyakarta. Cerutu merupakan produk iconic dari PT Taru Martani yang
sebagian produknya diekspor ke berbagai negara di dunia. PT Taru Martani telah
melakukan berbagai upaya pengendalian kualitas, namun masih ditemukan
persentase kerusakan yang melebihi batas toleransi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk:
1) menganalisis tingkat kerusakan produk PT Taru Martani, 2) mengidentifikasi
penyebab-penyebab cacat produk pada proses produksi cerutu di PT Taru
Martani. Metode penelitian ini adalah deksriptif kuantitatif. Teknik analisis yang
digunakan adalah flowchart, p-chart, Laney p’ chart, FMEA, dan fishbone
diagram. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: 1) terdapat dua unit yang prosesnya
berada di luar batas kendali, yakni Unit Persiapan bagian Filler dan Cerutu
Kering, sementara Unit Kepompong dan Unit Pelinting berada dalam batas
kendali, dan 2) faktor utama yang menyebabkan filler rusak yang diurutkan
berdasarkan Angka Prioritas Resiko (RPN) adalah Material, Metode, Lingkungan,
dan Sumber Daya Manusia, sedangkan faktor utama menyebabkan Cerutu Kering
rusak yang diurutkan berdasarkan Angka Prioritas Resiko (RPN) adalah
Lingkungan, Sumber Daya Manusia, dan Mesin.

ABSTRACT
PT Taru Martani is one of the oldest tobacco factories in Yogyakarta and produce Cigarss as
the iconic product exported to various countries in the world. PT Taru Martani has made
various quality control efforts, but still found the percentage of damage that exceeds the
tolerance limit. This study aims to: 1) analyze the level of damage to PT Taru Martani
products, 2) identify the causes of product defects in the cigar production process at PT Taru
Martani. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The analytical techniques used are
Check sheet, flowcharts, p-charts, Laney p'charts, FMEA, and fishbone diagrams. The result
of this study shows: 1) there are two units whose processes are out of control, namely the
Filler section of Preparation Unit and Dry Cigars, on the other hand the Cocoon Unit and
Cigar Rolling Unit are in control, and 2) the main factors that cause damaged fillers which
are sorted by Risk Priority Number (RPN) are Materials, Methods, Environment, and Human
Resources, while the main factors causing damaged Dry Cigars which are sorted by Risk
Priority Number (RPN) are the Environment, Human Resources, and Machines.
