Abstract
Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh motivasi terhadap minat mahasiswa akuntansi untuk mengikuti Pendidikan Profesi Akuntansi (PPAk)”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan bukti tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat mahasiswa akuntansi yang sedang mengikuti Pendidikan Profesi Akuntansi (PPAk). Faktor-faktor tersebut yaitu, motivasi kualitas, motivasi ekonomi, dan biaya pendidikan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada salah satu perguruan tinggi di Yogyakarta yaitu Universitas Gajah Mada (UGM). Data diperoleh dengan menyebarkan kuesioner sebanyak 100 kuisioner. Dengan menggunakan metode survey. Data-data tersebut dianalisis dengan menggunakan Regresi Linier Berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara bersama-sama ketiga faktor diatas berpengaruh terhadap minat mahasiswa untuk mengikuti Pendidikan Profesi Akuntansi. Kata kunci: Minat, Mahasiswa, Pendidikan Profesi Akuntansi. This study entitled "The Effect of motivation on student interest in accounting to follow the Accounting Profession Education (PPAk)". The purpose of this study was to obtain evidence about the factors that affect the interests of accounting students who are following the Accounting Profession Education (PPAk). These factors, namely, motivational qualities, economic motivation, and education costs. Data collection was conducted at one university in Yogyakarta, namely the University of Gadjah Mada (UGM). Data obtained by distributing questionnaires of 100 questionnaires. By using survey methods. The data was analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression. These results indicate that together the three factors above affect the interest of students to participate in Professional Accounting Education.
