Abstract
The research on Mining Limestone Areas of Sonar Asia Fortuna Company is important, because it can contribute on the changes properties of soil and revegetation of Tectona grandis. The objectives of this research were to find out the changes physical and chemistry properties soil and land suitability of Tectona grandis. This research was to make use of survey method. The research was conducted at original soil, pile soil and reclamation soil. In take of land example there is 5 dots, at every sampling dot taken by 3 replications. The results of this research showed that in mining of limestone due to decrease of soil quality compare soil nature. Aggregate stability, porosity, organic matter P, K, Ca and Mg content were decrease at pile soil and increase at reclamation soil; otherwise permeability physical properties. N content and pH were increase at pile soil and reclamation soil, 0,26-1,31% for N and pH 6,68-7,95. For class land suitability of Tectona grandis was limited suitable, as constraint is pH and deepness of soil. pH soil is 7.9 (rather alkalis) and effective soil depth is 85 cm. If it land was improve management, it land is increase suitable again. Key words: Mining, properties of soil, Tectona grandis.
