Abstract

Banyaknya kebutuhan akan bahan galian menyebabkan banyak dilakukannya kegiatan eksplorasi di Indonesia. Salah satu penelitian yang telah dilakukan ialah analisa penyebaran mineral sulfida menggunakan metode geolistrik induksi polarisasi didaerah Kabupaten Bombana, Sulawesi Tenggara. Metoda geolistrik adalah salah satu metoda geofisika untuk menyelidiki kondisi bawah permukaan, yaitu dengan mempelajari sifat aliran listrik pada batuan di bawah permukaan bumi. Metode induksi polarisasi merupakan salah satu metode geolistrik yang digunakan mendeteksi terjadinya polarisasi listrik pada permukaan mineral-mineral logam dengan mengamati efek polariasi akibat adanya induksi arus di bawah permukaan bumi. Teknik pengukuran yang digunakan ialah Time-Domain yang bertujuan untuk melihat perubahan beda potensial saat arus injeksi dimatikan. Mineral sulfida merupakan mineral hasil persenyawaan langsung antara unsur tertentu dengan sulfur (belerang), seperti besi, perak, tembaga, timbal, seng dan merkuri. Pada umumnya mineral sulfida terdapat pada batuan beku dan batuan metamorf. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada daerah Bombana, Sulawesi Tenggara dengan menggunakan konfigurasi dipole-dipole sebanyak 6 lintasan dan panjang masing-masing lintasan 310 m. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa mineral sulfida (mineral konduktif) pada daerah ini memiliki nilai chargeability >200 msec. Sedangkan nilai resistivity 10-50 ohm.m berupa batuapasir; 50-500 berupa batuan metasedimen; 500-1000 berupa batuan sekis, dan >1000 ohm.m berupa batuan sekis kompak. Mineral konduktif tersebar secara acak membentuk spot- spot yang penyebarannya berada pada batuan metasedimen dan batuan sekis. Kata Kunci : metode geolistrik, induksi polarisasi, dipole-dipole, time domain, resistivity, chargeability, mineral sulfida, batuan metasedimen, batuan metamorf The high demand for excavated materials cause many do exploration activities in Indonesia. One of the research that was do is the spread analysis of sulfide minerals using induced polarization geoelectric method, Bombana District, Southeast Sulawesi. Geoelectric method is one of geophysical methods to investigate subsurface conditions by learn the nature of electricity from rock in the subsurface. Method of induced polarization is one of the geoelectric method to detect the occurrence of polarization electric on the surface of metal minerals by observing the polarization effects due to induction currents in the subsurface earth. The measurement technique used is Time-Domain which aims to see the change in potential difference when the injection current is switched off. Mineral sulfide is a mineral of compound results between particular elements with sulfur (sulfur), such as iron, silver, copper, lead, zinc and mercury. In general, mineral sulfide found in igneous rocks and metamorphic rocks. This research was conducted in the Bombana area, Southeast Sulawesi by using dipoledipole configuration with 6 tracks and the length of each track is 310 m. Based on research results that the mineral sulfide (mineral conductive) in this area has a chargeability values >200 msec. While the value of resistivity 10-50 ohm.m is sandstone; 50-500 is meta-sedimentary rocks; 500-1000 is schist rocks, and >1000 ohm.m is compact schist rocks. The conductive minerals are scattered randomly, form a spot- spot and spread are at meta-sedimentary rocks and schist rocks.
