Abstract
Seiring dengan perkembangan jaman, media massa menjadi perhatian masyarakat untuk mendapatkan hiburan dan menyediakan lingkungan budaya bersama. Televisi sebagai salah satu bentuk media massa memiliki pengaruh dan daya penetrasi yang jauh lebih besar dari media komunikasi massa lainnya. Audiens akan senantiasa memaknai isi pesan yang ditawarkan oleh media. Penelitian berjudul “Analisis Resepsi Tayangan Yuk Keep Smile (YKS) TRANS TV” memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui konten hiburan yang ditonjolkan oleh program acara Yuk Keep Smile (YKS) TRANS TV dan bagaimana pemaknaan audiens terhadap tayangan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis resepsi untuk melihat penerimaan audiens terhadap suatu program acara televisi. Data diperoleh dari analisis deskriptif program acara Yuk Keep Smile (YKS) TRANS TV dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) oleh tujuh narasumber. Terdapat lima poin preferred reading, yaitu lagu dangdut dan joget, ejekan, reality show, talk show dan acara musik, kekompakan tim, game show, hadiah, kuis serta dua poin tambahan. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber yang berarti membandingkan dan mengecek balik derajat kepercayaan suatu informasi yang diperoleh melalui waktu dan alat berbeda dalam penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa audiens tidak semata-mata pasif menanggapi isi pesan media. Terdapat enam narasumber termasuk dalam The Negotiated Reading, satu narasumber termasuk dalam The Oppositional Reading dan tidak ada yang masuk dalam The Dominant – Hegemonic. Tayangan Yuk Keep Smile (YKS) TRANS TV dinilai memiliki andil dalam mengangkat kembali lagu-lagu dangdut Indonesia yang mulai ditinggalkan. Kekompakan tim yang ditunjukkan juga menjadi salah satu daya tarik tersendiri. Namun berhubungan dengan dampak yang negatif terhadap anak-anak, acara tersebut dinilai tidak patut jika dilihat dari aspek joget, ejekan dan game show yang menyiksa. Along with the times goes by, mass media become the center of attention for public entertainment, it also provides cultural enviroment for people’s around. Television as one of the most powerful mass media has bigger effect than others. The audience always interpret the media content. This research entitled “Reception Analysis of Yuk Keep Smile (YKS) TRANS TV Program” has purpose to discover the entertainment content from Yuk Keep Smile (YKS) program on TRANS TV and how people interpret about it. This research used a qualitative method to approach the reception analysis to examine audience’s acceptances to the program. Data obtained from descriptive analysis of the television program and focus group discussion (FGD) by seven respondents. There are five points of preferred reading, namely dangdut songs and dances, ridicules, reality show, talk show and music program, compactness team, game show, doorprize, quiz and two additional points. The validity of data using triangulation sources to compare and check the validity degree of information that gained through time and different tools in qualitative research. The result showed that the sources does not ignorance about media content. There are six respondents included in The Negotiated Reading, one of the sources included in The Oppositional Reading and there isn’t souces included in The Dominant – Hegemonic. Yuk Keep Smile (YKS) TRANS TV has contributed to raise back Indonesian dangdut songs which have been left. Compactness of the YKS team is also one good point. But dealing with the negative impact realated to the children, this television program considered inappropriate content such as dance, abuse and torture game show.
