Abstract
Abstract Fuel shortages both nationally and locally as well as a surge in fuel prices tend to rise over the years has led to diminishing oil reserves in Indonesia and globally has led to high fuel prices and tends to increase . Whereas on the one hand fuel demand tends to increase, exceeding the existing production so that Indonesia needs to import from abroad. For that reason, Indonesia sought to develop alternative energy to meet its fuel needs is to develop biofuel ethanol technology one step by Indonesia in cooperation with Brazil in the field of alternative energy biofuel ethanol .The success of Brazil in the development of alternative energy biofuel ethanol and even make it as country's largest ethanol biofuel without sacrificing land for food security which is the consideration for Indonesia in cooperation with Brazil in the development of Brazilian ethanol technology . As politically, in cooperation with Brazil as the same member of the G20 developing countries and that has succeeded in the development of alternative energy, Indonesia is expected to achieve progress achieved by Brazil in the field of technology and energy biofuel ethanol .The availability of materials to produce ethanol as well biofuel processing and development easier and can be done continuously without fear of running out of the manufacture ethanol biofuel has made Indonesia choose alternative energy use are like that done by Brazil for the sake of the security and availability of fuel materialize cheap and can be produce continuously. Keywords: Biofuel Ethanol, Alternative Energy, Fuel Shortages
