Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola komunikasi antara guru bimbingan
konseling dengan siswa dalam mata pelajaran pendidikan karakter di SMP Negeri 2
Purwodadi, dan dengan rumusan masalah adalah bagaimanakah pola komunikasi guru
bimbingan konseling dengan siswa dalam pendidikan karakter di SMP Negeri 2 Purwodadi.
Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian lapangan, sedangkan pendekatan yang
gunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif menggambarkan data, lokasi penelitian ini
dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 2 Purwodadi, beralamat di Jl. P. Diponegoro No. 26 Purwodadi
Grobogan. Metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan
adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, analisis data model interaktif, sedangkan
keabsahan data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter dilakukan melalui tiga jalur, yaitu terintegrasi ke dalam
proses pembelajaran, melalui pembiasaan yang disesuaikan dengan budaya sekolah, melaui
jalur pengembangan diri yang dilakukan oleh guru bimbingan konseling. Komunikasi
interpersonal guru bimbingan konseling dalam pendidikan karakter memiliki peran penting
dan ketrampilan berkomunikasi menentukan derajad kualitas layanan, tatap muka dengan
wawancara merupakan teknik yang dominan dilakukan oleh guru bimbingan konseling dalam
membantu menyelesaikan masalah siswa, format layanan yang dilakukan oleh guru
bimbingan konseling ada tiga yaitu, format klasikal, format kelompok, dan format
individual.

The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of communication between the
guiding and counseling teacher and students in the subjects of character education. With the
formulation of the problem now was the communication patterns between the guiding and
counseling teacher in the subjects of character education in SMP Negeri 2 Purwodadi.The
type of research is a field research, while the approach used was qualitative descriptive
approach of illustrate/describing the data, the location of this research is SMP Negeri 2
Purwodadi atP. Diponegoro steet No.26 Purwodadi Grobogan.Qualitative research
methodsusing data collection techniques are observation, interviews, decumentation, data
analysis and models interactively where as the validity of the data is was used triangulasi.
The result of the research are, the implementation of the character education is done through
three ways/lanes, they are; inteqrated in the learning process, through habituation adapted to
the culture of the school, through self development undertaken by guiding and counseling
teacher. 2) interpersonal communication guidance teachers in character education has an
important role and communication skills determine the degree of the quality of service, f ace
to face interviews is the dominant technique performed by guiding and counseling teacher in
helping students solve the problems, the formats of the services perfourmed by guiding and
counseling teacher, they are; classical format, the group format and, individual format.
