Abstract
ABSTRAK Bermula saat wartawan foto IPPHOS meliput peristiwa revolusi fisik di Indonesia pada tahun 1945-1949. Pada saat itu wartawan foto IPPHOS menggambarkan perjuangan para pejuang dari kaum politisi, pemuda dan kesatuan militer di Indonesia. Melalui kumpulan karya foto yang terkandung dalam buku IPPHOS Remastered tersebut, wartawan foto tersebut menggambarkan nasionalisme Bangsa Indonesia pada periode revolusi fisik dan menjadi pedoman mencapai cita-cita Bangsa Indonesia saat ini. melalui kajian semiotika dari Roland Barthes, penulis mencoba menguraikan makna dalam foto-foto dari karya IPPHOS tersebut melalui 2 tingkatan yaitu denotatif dan konotatif. Untuk lebih menguatkan proses dalam pemaknaan, penulis juga menggunaakan 3 dari 9 formula pengembangan kebasahan data dari Andrik Purwasito yaitu intertekstualitas, intersubjektivitas, siapa komunikator. Akhirnnya peneliti mampu menemukan nilai-nilai nasionalime yang tersirat dalam 5 foto tersebut. Nilai-nilai nasionalisme yang tersirat tersebut yaitu, hak untuk merdeka, kesetiaan tertinggi pada negara, toleransi sebesar-besarnya kepada bangsa dan sifat kepribadian untuk peduli terhadap sesama. Kata kunci : Nasionalisme, Semiotika, Fotografi, Indonesia Press Photo Service ABSTRACT Began when photojournalist covering events IPPHOS physical revolution in Indonesia in 1945-1949. At that time photojournalist IPPHOS describe fighters struggle of politicians, youth and military units in Indonesia. Through a collection of photographs contained in the book IPPHOS Remastered, photojournalist depicts Indonesian nationalism Nations in the period of physical revolution and guide achieve the ideals of the Indonesian nation today. through the study of semiotics of Roland Barthes, the author tries to decipher the meaning of the photographs of the IPPHOS works through two levels, namely denotative and connotative. To further strengthen the process of meaning, the authors also use 3 of 9 formulas development of andric Purwasito data validity. Finally researchers were able to find the values of nationalism that is implied in the photo 5. Values implicit nationalism, namely, the right to independence, the highest loyalty to the state, the maximum tolerance to the nation and the personality trait to care for others.
