Abstract
RINGKASAN
PT. Bukit Asam (Persero),Tbk merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang
bergerak di bidang pertambangan batubara, terletak di Kecamatan Lawang Kidul,
Kabupaten Muara Enim, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah
untuk mengetahui kemampuan produksi alat muat dan alat angkut yang
digunakan, mengetahui dan memperbaiki faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan tidak
tercapainya target produksi overburden, dan mengupayakan alternatif
penyelesaiannya, sehingga target produksi bisa dicapai.
Target produksi overburden pada Tambang Banko Barat Pit 3 Timur PT.
Bukit Asam adalah sebesar 520.000 BCM/bulan. Target produksi tersebut belum
terpenuhi karena masih terdapat hambatan-hambatan yang terjadi. Produksi saat
ini 1 alat muat excavator Komatsu PC 1250 sebesar 299.446 BCM/bulan dan 5
unit dump truck Komatsu HD 465 sebesar 244.753,8 BCM/bulan, sedangkan
untuk produksi 1 alat muat excavator Volvo EC 700 BLC sebesar 204.226,4
BCM/bulan dan 10 unit dump truck Scania P 380 CB sebesar 231.507,1
BCM/bulan. Sehingga produksi alat muat sebesar 503.672,5 BCM/bulan, dan
produksi alat angkut sebesar 476.260,9 BCM/bulan. Tingkat kesediaan alat
mekanis adalah mechanical availability (MA) sebesar 78,33%, physical
availability (PA) sebesar 79,63%, use of availability (UA) sebesar 92,47%, dan
effective utilization (EU) sebesar 73,63%.
Upaya peningkatan produksi dapat dilakukan dengan cara meningkatkan
waktu kerja efektif dengan melakukan perbaikan terhadap hambatan-hambatan
yang terjadi, sehingga terjadi peningkatan pada efisiensi dan efektifitas
penggunaan alat mekanis. Use of availability (UA) alat mekanis diketahui
meningkat menjadi 99,4%, physical availability (PA) meningkat menjadi 79,63%,
mechanical availabity (MA) meningkat menjadi 79,53%, dan effective utility
(EU) meningkat menjadi 79,15%. Perbaikan waktu kerja berdampak pada
meningkatnya produksi alat mekanis, sehingga Produksi alat muat meningkat
menjadi 541.995,4 BCM/bulan. Produksi alat angkut meningkat menjadi
506.987,4 BCM/bulan. Produksi pada alat angkut tersebut tidak dapat memenuhi
target produksi yang direncanakan. Setelah dilakukan penambahan 1 unit alat
angkut dari yang semula berjumlah 10 unit menjadi 11 unit. Unit alat angkut
dump truck Scania P380 CB ini menjadikan produksi alat angkut dapat
meningkat menjadi 531.631,7 BCM/bulan, sehingga target produksi pengupasan
overburden sudah terpenuhi.

ABSTRACT
PT. Bukit Asam (Persero), Tbk is one of the company operated in the coal
mining area, located in Subdistrict of Lawang Kidul, District of Muara Enim,
Province of South Sumatera. This research aims to observe the production
capacity of the use loading and hauling equipment, to investigate and repair the
factors that lead to failure to achieve the overburden production target, and to seek
an alternative solution, so the production target can be achieved.
The overburden production target at Pit 3 Timur Banko Barat PT. Bukit
Asam is 520,000 BCM/month. The production target has not fulfilled since there
is still many barriers. Nowadays the production of 1 unit of excavator hydraulic
Komatsu PC 1250 SP is 299,446 BCM/month and 5 units of dump truck Komatsu
HD 465 is 244,753.8 BCM/month, while for the production of 1 unit of excavator
hydraulic Volvo EC 700 BLC is 204,226.4 BCM/month and 10 units of dump
truck Scania P 380 CB is 231,507.1 BCM/month. So, the production of excavator
hydraulic is 503,672.5 BCM/bulan, and the production of dump truck is 476,260.9
BCM/month. The availability level of the used loading and hauling
equipmentbwere mechanical availability (MA) in amount of 78.33%, physical
availability (PA) of 79.63%, use of availability (UA) of 92.47%, and effective
utilization (UA) of 73.63%.
The effort to increase production can be conducted by increasing an
effective working time with improving to the barriers, therefore the increase
occurs at the efficiency and effectiveness of mechanical equipment usage. The use
of availability (UA) in mechanical equipment was known increase into 99.4%,
physical availability (PA) increase into 79.63%, mechanical availabity (MA)
increase into 79.53%, and effective utility (EU) increase into 79.15%. The
working time improvement has effected to the increase of mechanical equipment
production. The loading equipment production increase into 541,995.4
BCM/month and hauling equipment production increase into 506,987.4
BCM/month but production in the hauling equipment has not fulfilled a
scheduled production target, in other to being conducted an addition 1 unit of
hauling equipment from the first amount of 10 units becomes 11 units. Addition in
this dump truck Scania P 380 CB unit made production of hauling equipment can
increase into 531,631.7 BCM/month, so the production target of overburden
removal has been fulfilled.
