Abstract

PT Kaltim Prima Coal is a private company engaged in coal mining, is located in Sangatta, East Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province. Mining system that is applied in PT Kaltim Prima Coal is a system of open pit mining (surface mining). PT Kaltim Prima Coal operate coal mining activities with an area of 90,600 hectares of mining. Hatari department is one department in the PT. Kaltim Prima Coal and K9 Pit is one of the pit that is in hatari were used as research material for "Coal Mining Technical design". Technical design of Coal Mining in Pit K9 done with scale per week using load device allocation set by the company is Liebherr R996B with the overall result of the design total there are 22 weeks. Pit K9 has amounted to 3,381,541 bcm overburden and a total of 302 029 tonnes of coal with SR 12.72. Technical design of the planned coal mining elevation 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30 meters above sea level. Results obtained per week of technical design K9 Pit coal mines are: 1. The first week and the second week total of 336 973 bcm overburden and a total of 21 059 tons of coal, the number of trucks by 12. 2. The third week and fourth week total of 342 301 bcm overburden and a total of 26 556 tons of coal, the number of trucks by 12. 3. Sunday the fifth and sixth week total of 353 812 bcm overburden and a total of 28 435 tons of coal, the number of trucks by 12. 4. Sunday the seventh and eighth in total amounted to 351 300 bcm overburden and a total of 28 393 tons of coal, the number of trucks by 12. 5. Sunday ninth and tenth week total of 340 135 bcm overburden and a total of 24 867 tons of coal, the number of trucks by 12. 6. Sunday eleventh and twelfth week total of 340 268 bcm overburden and a total of 24 945 tons of coal, the number of trucks by 12. 7. Sunday thirteenth and fourteenth week a total of 352 748 bcm overburden and a total of 29 623 tons of coal, the number of trucks by 12. 8. Sunday the fifteenth and sixteenth week total of 353 149 bcm overburden and a total of 27 917 tons of coal, the number of trucks by 16 9. Sunday the seventeenth and eighteenth week amounted to 356 071 bcm overburden and a total of 22 677 tons of coal, the number of trucks by 16 10. Sunday nineteenth and twentieth week total of 356 745 bcm overburden and a total of 26 139 tons of coal, the number of trucks by 16. 11. Sunday twentieth one and Sunday twentieth two total of 357 439 bcm overburden and a total of 44 852 tons of coal, the number of trucks by 16.
