Abstract
Abstrak Konflik Israel-Palestina yang terjadi di kawasan Timur Tengah tidak terlepas dari faktor berdirinya negara Israel di atas tanah bangsa Palestina. Dalam konflik Israel-Palestina, aspek politik bukanlah satu-satunya dimensi yang dapat digunakan untuk menyoroti konflik kedua negara tersebut. Demikian halnya dengan aspek sejarah yang banyak dianggap sebagai awal konflik kedua negara tersebut sehingga masalah yang timbul mengakibatkan sengketa yang sampai saat ini belum dapat terselesaikan. Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa latar belakang invasi yang dilakukan oleh Israel ke jalur Gaza pada tahun 2014. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Library Research melalui pemanfaatkan data yang bersifat sekunder dari sumber – sumber terbuka berupa buku – buku, literature, majalah, surat kabar dan situs internet. Invasi yang dilakukan oleh Israel ke Jalur Gaza pada tahun 2014 dipengaruhi oleh faktor eksternal dan faktor internal. Secara eksternal alasan kembali bersatunya HAMAS dan FATAH menjadikan pihak Israel menjadi khawatir karena kekuatan politik Palestina terutama dalam dunia internasional menjadi meningkat. Selain itu menguatnya pengaruh Iran terhadap perjuangan bangsa Arab Palestina menjadi alasan berikutnya bagi Israel untuk menginvasi Gaza. Secara internal, alasan Israel menggempur Gaza didorong oleh kepentingan Perdana Menteri Benyamin Netanyahu untuk meningkatkan popularitas dirinya beserta partainya menjelang pemilu yang akan diselenggarakan pada bulan Maret 2015. Abstract Israeli-Palestinian conflict that occurred in the Middle East region can’t be separated from the factor of the establishment of Israel in the land of the Palestinians. In the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the political aspect is not the only dimension that can be used to highlight the conflict between the two countries. Likewise with the historical aspect that many considered as the beginning of a conflict between the two countries so that the problems arising resulting dispute has yet to be resolved. This thesis aims to analyze the background of the invasion carried out by Israel to the Gaza Strip in 2014. The method used in this study using Library Research through the exploitation of data that are secondary sources - the open source form of books - books, literature, magazines, letters newspapers and Internet sites. Invasion carried out by Israel to the Gaza Strip in 2014 was influenced by external factors and internal factors. Externally reason returned merging parties Hamas and Fatah make Israel be worried because the Palestinian political forces, especially in the international arena to be increased. Besides the strengthening of Iranian influence on the struggle of the Palestinian Arab nation become the next reason for Israel to invade internal Gaza.Secara, the reason Israel pounded Gaza driven by the interests of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to increase his popularity and his party ahead of the elections to be held in March 2015.
