Abstract

ABSTRAK Peran ILO sebagai badan PBB yang bekerja di bidang ketenagakerjaan atau perburuhan sangatlah penting dan vital dalam mendorong terciptanya keadilan bagi seluruh masyarakat dunia untuk hidup dengan layak. Namun demikian diperlukan kerjasama yang baik antara ILO dengan negara itu sendiri dalam hal ini pemerintah negara sehingga tujuan-tujuan ILO dapat tercapai. Pemerintah mempunyai peranan yang sangat besar dalam masalah ketenagakerjaan dan perburuhan, terutama dalam upaya menghapuskan bentukbentuk pekerja anak. ILO sebagai solusi dalam pemberantasan pekerja anak di Pakistan dirasakan sebagai komitmen yang dapat digunakan untuk mempertahankan momentum pemberdayaan dan advokasi terhadap pekerja anak, seperti yang telah dilakukan oleh ILO dalam program IPEC dalam usaha untuk menghapuskan praktek pekerja anak di Pakistan. Kata kunci : ILO, Pekerja Anak, Pakistan. ABSTRACT The ILO's role as the UN agencies working in the field of employment or employment is very important and vital in encouraging the creation of justice for all people of the world to live worthily. However, the necessary cooperation between the ILO and the state itself in this case the state government so that the ILO's objectives will be achieved. Government has a major role in labor and employment issues, especially in efforts to eliminate forms of child labor. ILO as a solution in the eradication of child labor in Pakistan is perceived as a commitment that can be used to maintain the momentum of empowerment and advocacy against child labor, as has been done by the ILO in IPEC program in an attempt to eliminate the practice of child labor inPakistan.
