Abstract

PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk. is a companya engaged in coal mining. PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk Tanjung Enim unit coal-producing region, dividing into two part, namely Mine Air Laya (TAL) and Non Air Laya (NAL). Coal in mine Air laya has varied in quality, there were 6300-7300 Kcal/Kg. Market products produced by PT Bukit Asam which BA-59, BA- 63, BA-67. To meet market demand by 2013 i.e 18.500.000 tonnes, the same material was undertaken in a certain amount, quality, or combined in ways that regularly mined, to get good quality or specifications in accordance with the market demand is the definition of Blending. Therefore for ease in doing the Blending coal, made an application for getting quick and accurate results. To get the results of the calculation, user inputing some data, namely : data products will be produced, the coal tonnage produced to blend, a type of coal that will be mixed, the calorific value (CV), the value of Fixed Carbon (FC), Total Moisture (TM), which became the goal production, then the calculations will be calculated using simplex method. So that it can display the calculation result in the form of a report which can be saved and redisplayed when needed. The methodology used in developing this application was GRAPPLE methodology(Guidelines for Rapid Application Engineering) is a comm only used method for object oriented application development. The research has previously been done by student from the Department of mining engineering UPN”veteran” Yogyakarta, but in previous research conducted based on theory and research in the field while the research this time more accentuated on the making of the application. This application software is built using NetBeans IDE with his programming language is 7.1.2 Java, MySQL as the database.
