Abstract

RINGKASAN

Melihat kecenderungan semakin meningkatnya kebutuhan energi sebagai
akibat pemakaian perkapita dan pengembangan industri, dilain pihak cadangan
minyak bumi semakin menipis dan energi lain masih terbatas. pemerintah telah
menyanangkan untuk mengurangi ketergantungan minyak bumi dalam penyediaan
energi nasional melalui sumber-sumber energi lainnya. Batubara merupakan salah
satu sumber energi alternatif yang dapat diandalkan karena potensinya yang
sangat besar.
Penaksiran sumberdaya melalui analisis data eksplorasi yakni berupa data
pemboran dan pemetaan, dilakukan untuk mengetahui taksiran jumlah tonase
sumberdaya batubara. Lokasi penaksiran terletak di daerah konsesi PT. Indonesia
Riau Sri Avantika seluas 67 hektar di mana terdapat 8 titik bor yang terletak di
Kecamatan Ulok Kupai, Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara, Provinsi Bengkulu.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengaplikasikan metode Cross Section
untuk mengestimasi jumlah sumberdaya batubara di daerah penelitian.
Hasil penelitian yang diharapkan adalah dapat mengetahui jumlah
sumberdaya batubara (Ton), volume Over Burden (Bcm).
Berdasarkan penaksiran sumberdaya batubara menggunakan metode Cross
Section dengan pedoman perubahan bertahap (rule of gradual change) pada jarak
antar sayatan ≤ 150 meter diperoleh sumberdaya batubara Tertunjuk (Indicated
Coal Resource) sebesar 2.513.161,95 ton. Volume overburden yang didapatkan
adalah sebesar 15.481.640,25 Bcm.
Metode Cross Section dengan pedoman titik terdekat (rule of nearest
point), jarak antar sayatan sebesar ≤ 150 meter diperoleh sumberdaya batubara
Tertunjuk (Indicated Coal Resource) sebesar 2.513.161,95 ton, serta volume
overburden yang didapatkan adalah sebesar 16.311.096 Bcm.

ABSTRAK

Seeing the trend of increasing energy requirements as a result of industrial
consumption and industrial development, on the other hand dwindling oil reserves
and other energy is still limited. government has launched to reduce petroleum
dependence in the national energy supply through other energy sources. Coal is
one of the alternative energy source that can be relied upon because of its
potential is very large.
Resource assessment through exploratory data analysis in the form of
drilling and mapping of data, was conducted to determine the estimated tonnage
of coal resources. Locations assessment lies in the concession area of PT.
Indonesian Riau Sri Avantika 67 hectares where there are 8 drill point located in
District Ulok Kupai, North Bengkulu, Bengkulu Province.
The purpose of this research is to apply the method to estimate the number
of cross section of coal resources in the study area.
The results of the study are expected to be able to determine the amount of
coal resources (Ton), the volume of Over Burden (Bcm).
Based on the coal resource assessment using guidelines Cross Section with
gradual changes (rule of gradual change) at a distance of 150 meters between the
incision ≤ obtained Indicated coal resources (Indicated Coal Resource) of
2,513,161.95 tons. Overburden volume obtained is equal to 15,481,640.25 Bcm.
