Abstract
Suatu perusahaan akan dihadapkan masalah yang berhubungan dengan system distribusi. Masalah ini timbul karena konsumen berada pada lokasi terpisah secara geografis, hal ini mengakibatkan pentingnya penyimpanan persediaan pada beberapa lokasi. CV. Gunakarya mandiri adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang distributor obat kulit hewan. CV. Gunakarya Mandiri belum memiliki satu perencanaan distribusi yang baik. Perencanaan distribusi yang dijalankan oleh perusahaan kurang efektif dan memiliki beberapa kelemahan. Dengan adanya masalah tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian dengan metode Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) dengan harapan dapat dilakukan pendistribusian produk dari distributor ke gudang secara optimal. Distribution Requirement Planning adalah suatu metode untuk menangani pengadaan persediaan dalam suatu jaringan distribusi multi eselon. Tujuan dari Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP), yaitu melakukan perencanaan dan penjadwalan aktivitas distribusi yang baik, sehingga keberhasilan dalam pemenuhan permintaan pelanggan akan menjadi lebih optimal, kinerja penjualan meningkat dalam memenuhi order dengan tepat waktu dan tepat jumlah sehingga biaya distribusi dapat ditekan seminimun mungkin. Hasil Penelitian didapatkan Perencanaan Distribusi metode perusahaan, Total Cost dari distribusi meliputu data permintaan produk, harg produk, biaya pemesanan, biaya penyimanan, biaya pengiriman, data lead time dengan metode DRP lebih kecil bila dibandingkan dengan metode perusahaan. Total Cost (TC) dengan metode perusahaan adalah sebesar Rp 19.791.120,- dan Total Cost dengan metode DRP adalah sebesar Rp 9.228.748,- Sehingga terjadi penurunan sebesar 53%. Kata kunci : Distribusi, Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP). A company will be faced with problems relating to the distribution system. Gunakarya Mandiri is a company engaged in the field of animal skins drug distributors. CV. Gunakarya Mandiri not yet have a good distribution planning. Planning distribution company run by less effective and has few weaknesses. Given these problems, then conducted research with the method of Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) in the hope to be distributing the product from factory to warehouse in an optimal distribution. Distribution Requirements Planning is a method to handle the procurement of supplies in a multi-echelon distribution network. The purpose of the Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), which make planning and scheduling activities of a good distribution, so that success in meeting customer demand will be more optimal, increase sales performance in fulfilling orders in a timely and appropriate amount so that distribution costs can be reduced economically possible. Results obtained Planning Distribution Research company method, the Total Cost of distribution data covers product demand, product price, booking fees, storage fees, shipping costs, lead time data with DRP method is smaller when compared with the methods of the company. Total Cost (TC) with the method the company is at Rp. 19.791.120,- and Total Cost with DRP method is Rp.9.228.748. So there is the difference between the total cost companies a total cost of 53 % DRP method. Key words: Distribution, Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP)
