Abstract
Empowerment fish farmer group members “Mina Lestari” in Plalangan Hamlet Pandowoharjo Village Sleman District Sleman Regency. Guided by TEGUH KISMANTOROADJI dan WULANDARI DWI ETIKA RINI. This study aim to (1) to determine the level of empowerment in farmer groups of fish “Mina Lestari” (2)determine what factors are affecting the fish farmers empowerment group “Mina Lestari”. Implementation of research methodes used in this study is a survey. Method of determining the location of this study using purposive sampling methode. Kinds of data used is the primary of data and secondary. Sources of data optained from a fish farmer group members, village office, plantation and live stock extention agencies, district office, and study literature. Techniques of data collection by of observation, interviews, documentation studies and questionnairs. To determine the level of empowerment of farmer using a likert scale and tested with one sample t-test. To determine the factors and affect the empowerment of mulitiple linier analysis. The result showed that the factors affecting the fish farmers empowerment group members “Mina Lestari” is age, techology, motivation, gross income, experience, and wide pond. The level empowerment of farmer showed that mean score 20,08. The level fish group members “Minal Lestari” entry in the low catagory. Keywords: empowerment, fish farmer group
