Abstract

ABSTRAK Telah dilakukan penelitian geofisika metode “well logging” didaerah Tambang Air Laya, PT. Bukit Asam Tanjung Enim, Muara Enim, Sumatera Selatan. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui korelasi kandungan abu batubara terhadap nilai log densitas dalam hal ini seam B1 dan A1. Penelitian ini menggunakan log densitas dan data kualitas batubara yang selanjutnya akan dicari korelasi antara log densitas dengan kandungan abu batubara seam B1 dan seam A1. Hasil analisa menunjukkan nilai log densitas pada seam B1 berkisar antara 3604 CPS – 5440 CPS dan pada seam A1 berkisar antara 3419 CPS – 5209 CPS. Korelasi kandungan abu batubara terhadap nilai log densitas pada seam A1 dan B1 menunjukkan semakin tinggi kandungan abu batubara maka nilai log densitas juga akan semakin tinggi. Kata kunci : Well logging, log densitas, kualitas batubara. ABSTRACT Has be done the research of geophysics "well logging" method in Air Laya mine area, PT Bukit Asam, Tanjung Enim, Muara Enim, South Sumatera. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the correlation coal ash content of the log density in this seam B1 and A1. This study uses density log and coal quality data which will then look for correlation between the log density of the coal ash content seam B1 and seam A1. The analysis result show the value of log density seam B1 in the range of between 3604 CPS - 5440 CPS and seam A1 in the range of between 3419 CPS - 5209 CPS. Correlation coal ash content of the log density at seam A1 and B1 showed higher coal ash content is the log density will be higher. Key words : Well logging, log density, quality of coal
