Abstract

Pengaruh Frekuensi Dan Interval Pemupukan Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan
Hasil Tanaman Cabai Rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.) Dengan Irigasi Tetes

ABSTRAK
Pemupukan melalui irigasi tetes merupakan salah satu cara yang efektif dan efisien
dalam budidaya tanaman cabai. Diperlukan pengaturan waktu pemupukan agar
didapatkan dosis yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan tanaman. Penelitian dilaksanakan
di Kebun Praktek Fakultas Pertanian di Wedomartani pada bulan November 2023
sampai bulan Februari 2024. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui interval dan
frekuensi pemupukan campuran AB mix dan POC yang paling baik untuk
meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai. Metode yang digunakan
adalah percobaan lapangan petak terbagi (split plot) disusun dalam Rancangan
Acak Kelompok Lengkap dengan tiga kali ulangan. Petak Utama (Main Plot)
adalah interval pemberian campuran AB mix dan POC yang terdiri atas 3 aras yaitu
3 hari sekali, 6 hari sekali, dan 9 hari sekali. Anak Petak (Sub Plot) adalah frekuensi
pemupukan campuran AB mix dan POC yaitu sehari 1 kali, sehari 2 kali, dan sehari
3 kali. Analisis data menggunakan ANOVA pada taraf 5% dan dilanjutkan dengan
uji DMRT pada jenjang nyata 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak
terdapat interaksi antara interval dan frekuensi pemupukan pada semua parameter.
Interval pemberian 3 hari sekali dan 9 hari sekali menunjukkan tinggi tanaman yang
paling baik pada parameter tinggi tanaman umur 4 MST. Frekuensi pemupukan
sehari 3 kali menunjukkan jumlah daun yang paling banyak pada 6 MST.

The Effect of Frequency and Fertilization Interval on the Growth and Yield
of Chili Plants (Capsicum frutescens L.) With Drip Irrigation

ABSTRACT
Fertilization through drip irrigation is one of the effective and efficient methods in
chili cultivation. Fertilization timing is needed to obtain a dose that is in accordance
with plant needs. The study was conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture’s Practice
Garden in Wedomartani from November 2023 to February 2024. The purpose of
this study was to determine the best interval and frequency of AB mix and POC
fertilization to increase the growth and yield of chili plants. The method used was
a split plot field experiment arranged in Completely Randomized Block Design
with three repetitions. The Main Plot is the interval of AB mix and POC mixture
administration consisting of 3 levels, namely once every 3 days, once every 6 days,
and once every 9 days. The Sub Plot is the frequency of AB mix and POC
fertilization, namely once a day, twice a day, and three times a day. Data analysis
used ANOVA at the 5% level and continued with the DMRT test at the 5% level of
significance. The results of the study showed that there was no interaction between
the interval and frequency of fertilization on all parameters. Fertilization intervals
of once every 3 days and once every 9 days showed the best plant height in the
parameter of plant height at 4 weeks after planting. Fertilization frequency of 3
times a day showed the highest number of leaves in the 6 weeks after planting.
