DENGAN OVERALL MINING EQUIPMENT
EFFECTIVENESS PADA OVERBURDEN REMOVAL

Penelitian ini menganalisis efektivitas alat gali-muat excavator backhoe Komatsu
PC 2000 pada kegiatan overburden removal di PT Tanur Jaya. Metode Overall
Mining Equipment Effectiveness (OMEE) digunakan sebagai pendekatan utama
untuk memperoleh efektivitas pemanfaatan alat dalam bentuk persentase. Faktor
faktor yang memengaruhi efektivitas alat berdasarkan metode OMEE meliputi
Technical Availability Rate, Mechanical Availability Rate, Utilization Rate, dan
Productivity Index, di mana OMEE merupakan perkalian dari keempat parameter
tersebut. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor losttime yang
paling dominan dan menganalisis dampaknya, serta menentukan waktu losttime
optimal untuk mencapai target produksi harian melalui analisis regresi linear
sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai OMEE untuk alat gali-muat
backhoe excavator Komatsu PC 2000 dengan nomor unit E52025, E52024,
E52021, dan E52018 secara berurutan adalah sebesar 45%, 42%, 45%, dan 38%.
Nilai OMEE ini mengindikasikan bahwa skor produksi masih rendah dan
memerlukan upaya signifikan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas alat. Identifikasi
waktu losttime pada bulan Februari menunjukkan bahwa pada alat E52025,
External Standby (SBE) mencapai 135,86 jam, Operating Standby (SBO) 65,08
jam, dan Downtime 8,75 jam. Untuk alat E52024, SBE tercatat 122,93 jam, SBO
70,26 jam, dan Downtime 12,33 jam. Pada alat E52021, SBE sebesar 126,12 jam,
SBO 63,03 jam, dan Downtime 19 jam. Sementara itu, alat E52018 mencatat SBE
sebesar 151,11 jam, SBO 71,64 jam, dan Downtime 9 jam. Berdasarkan analisis
regresi linear sederhana, losttime yang dapat ditoleransi untuk mencapai target
produksi harian 9000 BCM untuk masing-masing alat (E52025, E52024, E52021,
E52018) secara berurutan adalah 9,30 jam, 7,69 jam, 7,59 jam, dan 7,60 jam.

This study analyzes the effectiveness of the Komatsu PC 2000 backhoe excavator
in overburden removal activities at PT Tanur Jaya. The Overall Mining Equipment
Effectiveness (OMEE) method was used as the main approach to obtain the
effectiveness of equipment utilization in the form of a percentage. Factors
influencing equipment effectiveness based on the OMEE method include Technical
Availability Rate, Mechanical Availability Rate, Utilization Rate, and Productivity
Index, where OMEE is the product of these four parameters. Additionally, this study
identifies the most dominant lost-time factors, analyzes their impact, and
determines the optimal lost-time duration to achieve daily production targets
through simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that the
OMEE values for the Komatsu PC 2000 backhoe excavator with unit numbers
E52025, E52024, E52021, and E52018 are 45%, 42%, 45%, and 38%, respectively.
These OMEE values indicate that production scores are still low and require
significant efforts to improve machine effectiveness. The identification of lost time
in February shows that for machine E52025, External Standby (SBE) reached
135.86 hours, Operating Standby (SBO) 65.08 hours, and Downtime 8.75 hours.
For the E52024 machine, SBE was recorded at 122.93 hours, SBO at 70.26 hours,
and Downtime at 12.33 hours. For the E52021 unit, SBE was 126.12 hours, SBO
was 63.03 hours, and Downtime was 19 hours. Meanwhile, the E52018 unit
recorded SBE at 151.11 hours, SBO at 71.64 hours, and Downtime at 9 hours.
Based on simple linear regression analysis, the lost time that can be tolerated to
achieve the daily production target of 9,000 BCM for each unit (E52025, E52024,
E52021, E52018) in sequence is 9.30 hours, 7.69 hours, 7.59 hours, and 7.60 hours.
