Abstract

ABSTRACT PT. Newmont Nusa Tenggara did reclamation on waste rock dump area that form into reclamation slope with ± 60 meters of length. Slope that formed like that can appearing a big erosion because of there is not bench which can hold rate of the erosion. The erosion danger level on few slope in reclamation area has been calculating and the result as below : 1. Slope 1 on 2012 – in the amount of 30,99 ton/ha/yr include class II of erosion is light erosion 2. Slope 2 on 2013 – in the amount 1.859,97 ton/ha/yr include class V of erosion is very heavy erosion 3. Slope 3 on 2014 – in the amount 1.984,42 ton/ha/yr include class V of erosion is very heavy erosion 4. Slope 4 on 2015 – in the amount 5.703,95 ton/ha/yr include class V of erosion is very heavy erosion 5. Energy Break – in the amount 837,38 ton/ha/yr include class V of erosion is very heavy erosion The result of erosion danger level is to much that can appearing landslide. Therefore form of the slope must be remake in order to detract of erosion. Teras bangku was highly recommended to use because it has bench catcher of erosion rate. The erosion danger level after conservation as below : 1. Slope 1 on 2012 – in the amount of 0,33 ton/ha/yr include class I of erosion is very light erosion 2. Slope 2 on 2013 – in the amount 20,08 ton/ha/yr include class II of erosion is light erosion 3. Slope 3 on 2014 – in the amount 20,08 ton/ha/yr include class II of erosion is light erosion 4. Slope 4 on 2015 – in the amount 66,95 ton/ha/yr include class III of erosion is moderate erosion
