PADA PROSES WORKOVER SUMUR “FYA-30”
LAPANGAN “CDA”

Sumur “FYA-30” Lapangan “CDA” merupakan salah satu sumur produksi yang
berada di wilayah Sangatta, Kalimantan Timur dan diusulkan untuk dilakukan
workover. Workover merupakan pekerjaan pemeliharaan dan perbaikan lubang
sumur dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan produksi. Pada sumur “FYA-30” akan
dilakukan workover berupa perforasi pada lapisan yang berada dibawah lapisan
existing dengan harapan akan meningkatkan produksi sumur. Ketika akan
dilakukan perforasi pada sumur tersebut ditemukan indikasi bahwa sumur
mengalami problem loss pada zona perforasi existing, yaitu lapisan L4.
Permasalahan yang akan diteliti pada penelitian ini adalah faktor apa yang
menyebabkan terjadinya loss pada saat akan dilakukan perforasi pada Sumur
“FYA-30” dan apakah pelaksanaan penanganan loss berupa 3 kali pemompaan lost
circulation material menggunakan calcium carbonate (CaCO3) dan 2 kali
cementing job yang dilakukan sudah sesuai dengan Standard Operating Procedure
(SOP) yang sudah ditetapkan oleh perusahaan serta berhasil menangani
permasalahan loss yang terjadi pada Sumur “FYA-30”.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan evaluasi penanganan problem loss yang terjadi pada
Sumur “FYA-30” tepatnya di zona perforasi L4, menunjukkan bahwa problem loss
telah berhasil ditangani dengan metode berupa cementing job. Hal tersebut dapat
ditunjukkan dengan bukti berupa setelah pemompaan Lost Circulation Material,
problem loss masih belum teratasi dengan maksimal karena masih ditemukan
penurunan fluid level berdasarkan data sonolog, maka dari itu dilanjutkan dengan
metode cementing job dan dinyatakan berhasil ditinjau berdasarkan hasil Uji
Tekanan Sumur dengan pemberian tekanan sebesar 300 psi dan 350 psi selama 5
menit, dimana menunjukkan indikasi tidak terjadinya penurunan tekanan sehingga
disimpulkan problem loss pada Sumur “FYA-30” dinyatakan berhasil ditangani
dengan metode cementing job berupa squeeze cementing.

The “FYA-30” Well in the “CDA” Field is one of the production wells located in
the Sangatta area, East Kalimantan and is proposed to be carried out a workover.
Workover is a wellbore maintenance and repair job with the aim of increasing
production. In the “FYA-30” Well, a workover will be carried out in the form of
perforation in the layer below the existing layer in the hope of increasing well
production. When perforating the well, there were indications that the well was
experiencing loss problems in the existing perforation zone, namely the L4 layer.
The problem that will be investigated in this study is what factors cause loss when
perforating the “FYA-30” Well and whether the implementation of loss handling in
the form of 3 times pumping lost circulation material using calcium carbonate
(CaCO3) and 2 times cementing jobs carried out is in accordance with the Standard
Operating Procedure (SOP) set by the company and successfully handles the loss
problems that occur in the “FYA-30” Well.
Based on the results of the analysis and evaluation of the handling of the loss
problem that occurred in the “FYA-30” Well, precisely in the L4 perforation zone,
it shows that the loss problem has been successfully handled with a method in the
form of a cementing job. This can be shown by evidence in the form of after pumping
Lost Circulation Material, the loss problem is still not maximally resolved because
there is still a decrease in fluid level based on sonologic data, therefore it is
continued with the cementing job method and declared successful based on the
results of the Well Pressure Test by applying pressure of 300 psi and 350 psi for 5
minutes, which shows an indication of no pressure drop so it is concluded that the
loss problem in the “FYA-30” Well is successfully handled by the cementing job
method in the form of squeeze cementing.
