PENDEKATAN TEMPERATURE VEGETATION DRYNESS INDEX (TVDI)
DARI CITRA LANDSAT 8 DI KABUPATEN GUNUNGKIDUL

ABSTRAK
Kabupaten Gunungkidul sering mengalami kekeringan yang disebabkan
oleh sifat batuan penyusun berupa karst yang mudah meloloskan air. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk memetakan status kekeringan lahan pertanian di Kabupaten
Gunungkidul menggunakan pendekatan Temperature Vegetation Dryness Index
(TVDI) yang diolah berdasarkan data penginderaan jauh. Data penginderaan jauh
yang digunakan adalah citra Landsat 8 tanggal perekaman 06 Juni 2024. Parameter
yang digunakan dari citra adalah suhu permukaan tanah (LST) dan indeks vegetasi
(NDVI) untuk menghasilkan peta TVDI dan parameter di lapangan berupa
pengukuran kadar lengas (KL). Hasil pengolahan TVDI diperoleh 5 kelas
kekeringan, yaitu basah, agak basah, normal, agak kering, dan kering. Peta TVDI
digunakan untuk penentuan titik sampel dari hasil overlay dengan peta jenis tanah
dan peta penggunaan lahan. Titik sampel yang diperoleh sebanyak 20 sampel untuk
uji regresi dan 10 sampel untuk uji akurasi. Hasil uji korelasi diperoleh koefisien
korelasi (r) sebesar -0,844 yang berarti memiliki hubungan negatif yang kuat, yaitu
semakin tinggi TVDI maka kadar lengas semakin rendah. Hasil uji regresi diperoleh
rumus KL = -43,106(TVDI) + 43,574 dengan koefisien determinasi (R2) 0,7115
juga termasuk kuat. Hasil uji akurasi diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,347 yang termasuk
sangat baik. Sebaran kekeringan lahan di Kabupaten Gunungkidul pada kelas basah
seluas 3.197,25 ha, kelas agak basah seluas 25.194,33 ha, kelas normal seluas
50.463,45 ha, kelas agak kering seluas 47.688,66 ha, dan kelas kering seluas
21.276,18 ha.

ABSTRACT
Gunungkidul Regency often experiences drought caused by the
characteristic of the karst that easily allows water to pass through. This study aims
to map the drought status of agricultural land in Gunungkidul Regency using the
Temperature Vegetation Dryness Index (TVDI) approach processed based on
remote sensing data. The remote sensing data used was Landsat 8 imagery recorded
on June 6, 2024. The parameters used from the image were Land Surface
Temperature (LST) and vegetation index (NDVI) to produce a TVDI map and field
parameters in the form of moisture content measurements. The results of TVDI
processing obtained 5 drought classes, that is wet, slightly wet, normal, slightly dry,
and dry. The TVDI map was used to determine sample points from the overlay
results with soil type maps and land use maps. The sample points obtained were 20
samples for the regression test and 10 samples for the accuracy test. The results of
the correlation test obtained a correlation coefficient (r) of -0.844 which means it
had a strong negative relationship, namely the higher the TVDI, the lower the
moisture content (MC). The results of the regression test obtained the formula of
MC = -43.106 (TVDI) + 43.574 with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.7115
which was also strong. The results of the accuracy test obtained a value of 0.347
which was very good. The distribution of land drought in Gunungkidul Regency in
the wet class covered an area of 3,197.25 ha, the slightly wet class covered an area
of 25,194.33 ha, the normal class covered an area of 50,463.45 ha, the slightly dry
class covered an area of 47,688.66 ha, and the dry class covered an area of
21,276.18 ha.
