Abstract
Penaksiran Sumberdaya didapatkan melalui perhitungan dan analisis terhadap data eksplorasi yang telah didapatkan yaitu berupa data singkapan,strike, dip, dan ketebalan batubara. Penaksiran Sumberdaya dilakukan agar dapat mengetahui taksiran jumlah tonase Sumberdaya batubara .Lokasi pemetaan terletak di daerah konsesi P.T. Tunas Muda Jaya seluas 1.992 Ha, terletak di Kabupaten Paser, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengaplikasikan metode Cross Section dalam menentukan jumlah Sumberdaya batubara dan mengestimasi jumlah Sumberdaya batubara didaerah penelitian Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan cara pengamatan di lapangan, sedangkan metode penaksiran cadangan digunakan metode Cross Section dengan membandingkan antara pedoman perubahan bertahap dengan pedoman titik terdekat Hasil penelitian yang diharapkan adalah dapat menentukan volume sumberdaya, seam A dan seam B, menentukan tonase batubara. Kesimpulan yang didapat dengan menggunakan Metode Cross Section dengan pedoman perubahan bertahap (rule of gradual change), diperoleh sumberdaya Tereka (Inferred Resource) seam A adalah 127.523,38 ton dan seam B adalah 83.335,59 ton. Metode Cross Section dengan pedoman titik terdekat (rule of nearest point) diperoleh sumberdaya batubara Tereka (Inferred Resource ) seam A adalah 135.843,80ton dan seam B adalah 85.301,50 ton. ABSTRACK Assessment of resorce was founded through the calculating and analysis about the exploration data that collected as an exposure data, strike, dip and the coal thickness. The resource assessment had done to find out the appraisal tonnage of the resource of coal. The mapping located at PT. Tunas Muda Jaya. Concession 1.992Ha width, located ad district Paser, East Kalimantan Provinces. The research purposed to apply of the Cross Section method to determine a number and estimaton of coal resources at research area. The method used in this research through field observation while the appraisal buck up method used of cross section method by comparing between the rule of gradual change and the rule of nearest point. The expectation of the output of this research to determine resource volume, seam A and seam B, coal tonnage. Conclusion was found by using the method of cross section with rule of gradual change, obtainable the inferred resource seam A is 127.523,38ton and seam B is 83.335,59ton. Cross section method with the rule of nearest point obtainable the inferred resource seam A is 135.843,80ton and seam B is 85.301,50 ton.
