HASNA LATHIFAH IRSYADIA. 2024. Analisis Peran Sektor Pertanian dalam
Pembangunan Perekonomian Wilayah di Kabupaten Klaten. Dibimbing oleh Budi
Widayanto.
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Menganalisis kinerja perekonomian sektor
pertanian dan subsektor pertanian di Kabupaten Klaten, 2) Menganalisis pola
pertumbuhan sektor pertanian dan subsektor pertanian dalam pembangunan
perekonomian wilayah di Kabupaten Klaten, 3) Menganalisis sektor unggulan dan
subsektor pertanian unggulan di Kabupaten Klaten. Metode penelitian yang
digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Metode penentuan lokasi menggunakan
metode studi kasus. Metode pengambilan data pada penelitian adalah studi
dokumentasi. Metode analisis menggunakan analisis Shift Share, analisis Tipologi
Klassen, dan analisis Comparative Performance Index (CPI). Hasil Penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa 1) Kinerja perekonomian sektor pertanian di Kabupaten
Klaten masih berpengaruh positif terhadap perekonomian, meskipun pertumbuhan
sektor pertanian lebih lambat dan tidak berdaya saing. Enam subsektor pertanian
yang mengalami kenaikan kinerja perekonomian yaitu subsektor tanaman pangan,
subsektor tanaman hortikultura, subsektor peternakan, subsektor perikanan,
subsektor kehutanan, sedangkan subsektor tanaman perkebunan menjadi satu-
satunya subsektor yang mengalami penurunan kinerja perekonomian. 2) Pola
pertumbuhan sektor pertanian masuk kedalam kategori sektor tertinggal, tetapi
subsektor tanaman pangan, subsektor tanaman hortikultura, subsektor peternakan,
subsektor perikanan merupakan subsektor maju dan berkembang, sedangkan
subsektor perkebunan dan subsektor kehutanan diklasifikasikan dalam subsektor
potensial. 3) Sektor unggulan di Kabupaten Klaten adalah sektor industri
pengolahan, sedangkan sektor pertanian menduduki peringkat ketiga dan subsektor
pertanian unggulan pertama adalah subsektor tanaman pangan.

ABSTRACT
This research aimed to: 1) Analyze the economic performance of the agricultural
sector and agricultural subsectors in Klaten Regency, 2) Analyze the growth
patterns of the agricultural sector and agricultural subsectors in regional economic
development in Klaten Regency, 3) Analyze the leading sectors and leading
agricultural subsectors in Klaten Regency. The research method used was
quantitative research. The location determination method used case study method.
The method for collecting data in research was a documentation study. The analysis
method used Shift Share analysis, Klassen Typology analysis, and Comparative
Performance Index (CPI) analysis. The research results showed that 1) The
economic performance of the agricultural sector in Klaten Regency still has a
positive influence on the economy, even though the growth of the agricultural sector
was slower and less competitive. The six agricultural subsectors that experienced
an increase in economic performance were the food crops subsector, horticultural
crops subsector, livestock subsector, fisheries subsector, forestry subsector, while
the plantation crops subsector was the only subsector that experienced a decline in
economic performance. 2) The growth pattern of the agricultural sector falls into
the underdeveloped sector category, but the food crops subsector, horticultural
crops subsector, livestock subsector, fisheries subsector are advanced and
developing subsectors, while the plantation subsector and forestry subsector are
classified as potential subsectors. 3) The leading sector in Klaten Regency is the
processing industry sector, while the agricultural sector is ranked third and the first
leading agricultural subsector is the food crops subsector.
