Abstract
PENGARUH PESTISIDA ASAP CAIR BERBAHAN DASAR SEKAM
PADI, BATOK KELAPA, DAN BAMBU DENGAN VARIASI INTERVAL
APLIKASI TERHADAP HAMA TANAMAN CABAI (Capsicum annuum L.)

ABSTRAK
Hama merupakan perusak tanaman pada akar, batang, daun atau bagian
tanaman lainya sehingga tanaman sehingga tanaman tidak dapat tumbuh dengan
sempurna. Pestisida asap cair (PAC) merupakan salah satu pestisida nabati yang
berpotensi sebagai antibakteri, antivirus, dan antifungi, serta mempunyai efek
repellent untuk hama tanaman, yang berasal dari kondensasi asap pembakaran
bahan yang mengandung banyak lignin, selulosa, hemiselulosa serta senyawa
karbon lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan membandingkan
pengaruh PAC yang berbahan dasar sekam padi, batok kelapa, dan bambu
terhadap serangan hama tanaman cabai. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa
Sikambang, Kecamatan Pituruh, Kabupaten Purworejo, Jawa Tengah pada bulan
Juni – Agustus 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok
Lengkap faktor tunggal yang terdiri dari 10 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan, yaitu
menggunakan PAC dari sekam padi, batok kelapa, dan bambu dengan interval
pengaplikasian setiap 2, 4, dan 6 hari sekali, serta 1 perlakuaan kontrol. Data yang
dihasilkan dianalisis sidik ragam (ANOVA) kemudian diuji lanjut dengan
menggunakan uji DMRT 5%.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi PAC
batok kelapa dengan interval dua hari sekali dapat menekan intensitas kerusakan
dengan nilai paling rendah dan konsisten disetiap pengamatan. PAC yang
diaplikasikan diketahui tidak berpengaruh secara signifkan terhadap hasil tanaman
cabai.

THE EFFECT OF LIQUID SMOKE PESTICIDES BASED ON RICE
HUSK, COCONUT SHELLS AND BAMBOO WITH VARIED
APPLICATION INTERVALS ON PESTS OF
CHILI PLANTS (Capsicum annuum L.)

Pest is an organism living and growing where they are not wanted and
can cause damage to plants, including crops that are grown for food.. Liquid
smoke pesticide (LSP) is a plant-based pesticide that has the potential to be
antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal, and has a repellent effect on plant pests,
which come from the condensation of burning smoke from materials containing
lots of lignin, cellulose, hemicellulose and other carbon compounds. This
research aims to determine and compare the effect of LSP made from rice husks,
coconut shells and bamboo on pest attacks on chili plants. This research was
conducted in Sikambang Village, Pituruh District, Purworejo Regency, Central
Java in June - August 2023. This research used a single factor Complete
Randomized Block Design consisting of 10 treatments and 3 replications, namely
using PAC from rice husks, coconut shells, and bamboo with application intervals
every 2, 4, and 6 days, as well as 1 control treatment. The resulting data was
analyzed for variance (ANOVA) then tested further using the 5% DMRT test. The
results of the research showed that the application of coconut shell LSP at
intervals of every two days could reduce the intensity of damage with the lowest
and most consistent value in each observation. The applied LSP is known to have
no significant effect on the yield of chili plants.
