ABSTRAK
Berdasarkan data akuntan publik pada Pusat Pembinaan Profesi Keuangan
(PPPK) dan daftar perusahaan publik pada Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) diketahui
bahwa terdapat ketimpangan antara jumlah akuntan publik dan perusahaan ini,
sehingga membuka peluang besar bagi mahasiswa akuntansi dalam memilih
berkarier sebagai akuntan publik. Pada penelitian ini akan menggunakan model
SCCT dalam menetukan minat mahasiswa akuntansi berkarir sebagai akuntan
publik, yang mana terdiri dari self efficacy, outcomes expectation, dan goals.
Penelitian ini akan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data dengan melakukan
kuisoner yang disebar secara daring dengan populasi mahasiswa angkatan 2019 dan
2020 jurusan akuntansi UPN Veteran Yogyakarta dan sampel yang diambil sebesar
130 responden. Teknik analisis penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan
path analysis (analisis jalur). Hasil dari analisis menunjukkan hubungan self
efficacy dengan outcomes expectation berpengaruh signifikan, hubungan outcomes
expectation terhadap goals minat berkarirsebagai akuntan publik berpengaruh
signifikan dan hubungan self efficacy berpengaruh signifikan terhadap goals minat
berkarir sebagai akuntan publik.

ABSTRACT
Based on data from public accountants at the Financial Professional
Development Center (PPPK) and the list of public companies on the Indonesia
Stock Exchange (IDX), it is known that there is an imbalance between the number
of public accountants and these companies, thus opening up great opportunities for
accounting students in choosing a career as a public accountant. This study will
use the SCCT model in determining the interest of accounting students to have a
career as a public accountant, which consists of self efficacy, outcomes expectation,
and goals. This research will use a data collection method by conducting
questionnaires distributed online with a population of 2019 and 2020 class students
majoring in accounting at UPN Veterans Yogyakarta and a sample of 130
respondents. This research analysis technique uses descriptive analysis and path
analysis. The results of the analysis show that the relationship between self efficacy
and outcomes expectation has a significant effect, the relationship between
outcomes expectation and career goals as a public accountant has a significant
effect and the relationship between self-efficacy and goals has a significant effect
on career goals as a public accountant.
