RINGKASAN
OPTIMASI ELECTRIC SUBMERSIBLE PUMP (ESP) GUNA
MENINGKATKAN LAJU PRODUKSI PADA SUMUR “ED-09”
& “ED-11” LAPANGAN “DUMUM”

sumur “ED-11”, memperoleh produksi minyak sebesar 60 BOPD.
optimum.

ABSTRACT
OPTIMIZATION OF ELECTRIC SUBMERSIBLE PUMP (ESP)
TO INCREASE PRODUCTION RATE AT WELLS "ED-09" &
"ED-11" "DUMUM" FIELD

The "ED-09" and "ED-11" wells located in the "DUMUM" field of PT
Pertamina EP Cepu are currently unable to produce fluid by natural flow or natural
lifting, so that the well is produced by artificial lift method using the Electrical
Submersible Pump (ESP) artificial lift. Based on historical production data, this
well has a fluctuating production trend. Well "ED-09" and well "ED-11" have never
been evaluated before. The problem requires evaluation and optimization so as to
increase the production rate of the study wells.
This research begins by collecting production data, reservoir data,
completions data, installed ESP data and other supporting data. Next, evaluate the
installed ESP pump by calculating formation productivity using the Pudjo Sukarno
Method and analyzing nodal Vertical Lift Performance using the Gilbert Method.
The next step is to evaluate the formation completion of the well by calculating the
pressure drop due to perforation using the Jones, Blount & Glaze equation. If, the
installed pump is not optimum then it is necessary to re-plan the pump.
The results of the Electric Submersible Pump re-planning calculation at the
"ED-11" well, obtained oil production of 60 BOPD. The type of pump used is
DN1100/60 Hz/ 172 Stages/ TDH 2496 ft, Pump Setting Depth (PSD) installed at a
depth of 2680 ft and pump efficiency increased to 85%. As for well "ED-09", no
optimization was carried out because the installed pump has reached the optimum
efficiency.
