Abstract
RINGKASAN
PT Unity Tractor Semen Gresik (UTSG) adalah salah satu kontraktor alat
berat yang beroperasi di pit pertambangan batugamping PT Semen Tonasa.
Penambangan dengan alat-alat mekanis seperti, excavator untuk alat
penggalian/pemuatan dan dump truck sebagai alat angkutnya dengan metode
penambangan quarry dengan tipe side hill. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk
mengupayakan pengoptimalan alat mekanis guna mencapai target produksi yang
ditetapkan oleh PT Semen Tonasa. Penambangan batugamping saat ini
mengerahkan 4 fleet dengan jumlah alat mekanis adalah 4 unit alat muat
excavator Komatsu PC 300 dan 20 unit alat angkut UD Quester CWE 370.
PT UTSG menetapkan ketercapaian target produksi batugamping sebesar
166.924,80 ton pada bulan Februari 2023. Namun, produksi bulan Februari hanya
sebesar 153.974,43 ton yang berarti masih membutuhkan 8% lagi untuk mencapai
target produksi. Berdasarkan perhitungan secara teoritis oleh peneliti, diketahui
produktivitas alat mekanis yang dapat dihasilkan dari 4 unit alat muat Komatsu
PC 300 adalah sebesar 154.951,20 ton/bulan dan dari 20 unit alat angkut UD
Quester CWE 370 adalah sebesar 147.391,736 ton/bulan. Untuk itu, perlu
dilakukan perbaikan terhadap faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja alat
mekanis agar dapat mencapai target produksi batugamping.
Upaya peningkatan produksi yang telah dilakukan dengan memperbaiki
hambatan kerja yang terjadi menghasilkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap
peningkatan kemampuan produksi. Perubahan hasil produktivitas alat muat
excavator Komatsu PC 300 menjadi sebesar 200.631,312 ton/bulan dan alat
angkut UD Quester CWE 370 menjadi sebesar 233.530,366 ton/bulan. Namun,
dalam rangka memperbaiki match factor, maka dilakukan perbaikan jumlah
terhadap unit alat angkut menjadi sebesar 19 unit sehingga hasil produktivitas
berubah menjadi sebesar 221.853,85 ton/bulan. Dengan demikian, didapati secara
teoritis bahwa kemampuan dan ketersediaan alat mekanis saat ini mampu
memenuhi ketercapaian target produksi batugamping pada bulan Februari 2023.
SUMMARY
PT Unity Tractor Semen Gresik (UTSG) is one of the heavy equipment
contractors operating in the limestone mining pit of PT Semen Tonasa. Mining
with mechanical tools such as excavators for excavation or loading equipment and
dump trucks as a means of transportation with quarry mining methods with side
hill types. This research was conducted to strive for the optimization of
mechanical equipment to achieve production targets set by PT Semen Tonasa.

currently deploys 4 fleets with the number of mechanical equipment being 4 units
of Komatsu PC 300 excavator loading equipment and 20 units of UD Quester
CWE 370 transportation equipment.
PT UTSG has set the achievement of the limestone production target of
166,924.80 tons in February 2023. However, February production was only
153,974.43 tons, which means it still needs another 8% to reach the production
target. Based on calculations by researchers, it is known that the productivity of
mechanical equipment that can be produced from 4 units of Komatsu PC 300
loading equipment is 154.951,20 tons / month and from 20 units of UD Quester
CWE 370 transportation equipment is 147,391,736 tons/month. For this reason, it
is necessary to improve the factors that affect the performance of mechanical
devices in order to achieve limestone production targets.
Efforts to increase production that has been carried out by improving work
obstacles that occur produce a significant influence on increasing production
capabilities. The change in the productivity of Komatsu PC 300 excavator loading
equipment to 200,631,312 tons/month and UD Quester CWE 370 transportation
equipment to 233,530,366 tons/month. However, in order to improve the match
factor, the number of transportation units was improved to 19 units so productivity
results changed to 221,853.85 tons/month. Thus, it is theoretically found that the
current capability and availability of mechanical devices are able to meet the
achievement of the limestone production target in February 2023.
