RINGKASAN
PERENCANAAN WELL DESIGN SUMUR “B-3” PADA
LAPANGAN “B”

Lapangan “B” merupakan lapangan gas yang berlokasikan di Cekungan Sumatera
Selatan. Yang direncanakan dikembangkan pada Lapangan “B” dengan
mengusulkan pemboran sumur pengembangan berjumlah 1 sumur infill. Untuk
membuat rencana umum pemboran sumur diperlukan data sumur existing di
lapangan tersebut. Sumur usulan “B-3” direncanakan untuk drilling pada satu
reservoir dan formasi yang ekuivalen dengan sumur existing lainnya.
Pendesainan pada Sumur B-3 dilakukan dengan merancang aspek pada directional
drilling, pendesainan casing setting depth serta pemilihan material casing.
Perencanaan lumpur dan semen pemboran dilakukan dengan penentuan komposisi
serta volume. Pendesainan rangkaian drill string dan BHA disesuaikan dari sumur
existing dengan Sumur B-3, serta penentuan kapasitas rig dengan mendesain
kebutuhan per aspek sumur. Perencanaan drilling schedule dengan menyesuaikan
sumur existing dengan Sumur B-3.
Berdasarkan hasil pendesainan yang didasarkan dari sumur existing, didapatkan
hasil dari beberapa aspek dalam pendesainan untuk Sumur B-3. Pada directional
drilling terdapat perbedaan dalam KOP, azimuth, dan inklinasi. Pada aspek casing
setting depth serta pendesainan material casing didapatkan hasil yang berbeda pada
setiap section. Pada aspek lumpur serta semen pemboran digunakan desain lumpur
serta semen pemboran yang identik dengan volume yang berbeda pada setiap
section. Pendesainan pada rangkaian drill string dan BHA dilakukan identik dengan
sumur existing, terdapat perbedaan pada penyesuaian panjang per section. Pada
pemilihan kapasitas rig, disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan Sumur B-3 yang telah
dihitung pada setiap aspek. Perencanaan dari drilling schedule direncanakan identik
dengan sumur existing sehingga dapat diketahui waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk
operasi pemboran pada Sumur B-3.

Field "B" is a gas field located in the South Sumatra Basin. It is planned to be
developed in Field "B" by proposing to drill 1 infill well for the development of
development wells. In order to make a general plan for drilling wells, data on
existing wells in the field is required. The proposed well "B-3" is planned for
drilling in one reservoir and a formation equivalent to other existing wells.
The design of the B-3 well was carried out by designing the aspects of directional
drilling, designing the casing setting depth and selecting the casing material.
Planning of drilling mud and cement is done by determining the composition and
volume. Designing a drill strings and BHA is adjusted from the existing well to Well
B-3, as well as determining the capacity of the rig by designing the needs per aspect
of the well. Planning the drilling schedule by adjusting the existing well with the B-
3 well.
Based on the design results based on the existing wells, the results obtained from
several aspects in the design for Well B-3. In directional drilling there are
differences in KOP, azimuth, and inclination. In the aspect of casing setting depth
and casing material design, different results are obtained in each section. In the
aspect of drilling mud and cement, identical designs of drilling mud and cement are
used with different volumes in each section. The design of the drill string and BHA
series is identical to the existing wells, there are differences in the length adjustment
per section. In selecting the capacity of the rig, it is adjusted to the needs of the B-
3 Well which has been calculated for each aspect. The planning of the drilling
schedule is planned to be identical to the existing wells so that the time required for
drilling operations at Well B-3 can be determined..
