ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan memperoleh bukti empiris
menganai pengaruh Profitabilitas, Operating Leverage, dan Non-Debt Tax Shield
terhadap struktur modal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan
manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) tahun 2017-2021. Teknik
pengambilan samoel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel
dalam penelitian ini adalah 131 perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data
sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan tahunan dan website perusahaan. Metode
analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Profitabilitas berpengaruh negatif terhadap
struktur modal, Operating Leverage berpengaruh positif terhadap struktur modal,
dan Non-Debt Tax Shield berpengaruh positif terhadap struktur modal.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to examine and obtain empirical evidence regarding the
effect of Profitability, Operating Leverage, and Non-Debt Tax Shield on capital
structure. The population in this study are manufacturing companies listed on the
Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2017-2021. The sampling technique used
purposive sampling method. The number of samples in this study were 131
companies. This study uses secondary data obtained from annual reports and
company websites. The analytical method used in this study is multiple linear
regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that Profitability has a
negative effect on capital structure, Operating Leverage has a positive effect on
capital structure, and Non-Debt Tax Shield has a positive effect on capital
structure.
