Abstract
Kegiatan penambangan merupakan kegiatan untuk menghasilkan bahan galian yang
dilakukan baik secara manual maupun mekanis yang meliputi, pemuatan, pengangkutan
dan penimbunan. Kegiatan penambangan yang dilakukan pada daerah Moronopo oleh
PT. Antam (Persero) mengakibatkan perubahan bentuk lahan (Topografi), penumpukan
batuan/badrock, terjadinya erosi dan sedimentasi.. Tujuan penelitian yaitu melakukan
evaluasi reklamasi lahan bekas tambang bijih nikel, yang terdiri dari proses penataan
lahan (pembuatan jenjang/bench, perataan tanah, pengangkutan dan perataan
batuan/badrock, penebaran sub soil dan top soil, pembuatan drainase dan revegetasi
lahan.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dan analisis data. Metode
survey dilakukan dengan cara pengamatan langsung dilapangan, sedangkan analisis data
merupakan data hasil evaluasi lahan bekas tambang dan kesesuaian lahan pascatambang.
Dari hasil penelitian, dapat menyimpulkan penataan lahan (Regreading), pembuatan
jenjang (bench) bentuk berteras sebanyak 5 jenjang, panjang jenjang mengikuti garis
kontur seluas lahan yang direklamasi, kemiringan lereng akhir 25%, waktu penataan
lahan 18 hari, waktu revegetasi Kebutuhan tanah pucuk dengan sistem perataan tanah
sebanyak 17.500 m2. Kebutuhan tanah pucuk dengan sistem pot, volume lubang 0,064
m3 yaitu sebanyak 358,4 m3. Jumlah lubang tanam yang dibutuhkan dengan luas lahan
3.5 Ha adalah 5.600 lubang tanam. Tanaman yang dibutuhkan adalah Akasia sebanyak
3000 pohon dan Sengon 2600 pohon, maka jumlah pohon pada lahan seluas 3.5 Ha
adalah 5.600 Ha. Jarak tanam antara Sengon dan Akasia yang diterapkan adalah 2,5 x
2,5 meter. Penebaran cover crop dilakukan 2 minggu sebelum penanaman pohon
dilakukan sedangkan bibit pohon maksimal 3 hari sesudah persiapan lubang tanam
dilakukan.Jumlah pupuk yang dibutuhkan untuk Pit Block III-C dengan jumlah tanaman
5.600 pohon, luas areal 3.5 Ha adalah 2.800 kgPupuk yang digunakan terdiri dari pupuk
organik dan anorganik, tiap pohon dibutuhkan 0.7-1 kg/pohon pupuk organik.Waktu
penanaman dengan tenaga manusia dibutuhkan 9 hari, jumlah tenaga kerja 11 orang,
jumlah jam kerja 10 jam/hari.

Mining activity is an activity to produce minerals is conducted either manually or
mechanically covering, loading, hauling and stockpiling. Mining activities conducted in
the area Moronopo by PT . Antam ( Persero ) result in changes in the form of land (
topography ), badrock, erosion and sedimentation. The purpose of this research is to
evaluate mined land reclamation nickel ore, which consists of the landscaping process (
manufacture of ladder/bench, land leveling, hauling and leveling badrock, spreading top
soil and sub soil, drainage and revegetation .
The method of this research are the survey method and data analysis. Survey method
was done by direct observation in the field, while the analysis of the data is the data
mined land evaluation results and post-mining land suitability .
From the research results, it can be concluded landscaping (regreading), the
manufacturing level ( bench ) terraced form by 5 levels, the long path contour area of
reclaimed land, the final slope of 25%, 18 day time landscaping, revegetation time top
soil. The requirements of the leveling system as much as 17,500 m2. the requirements of
top soil with potting system, the volume of hole is 0.064 m3 as much as 358.4 m3. The
number of hole required planting with a land area of 3.5 hectares is 5,600 planting hole.
Plants required were 3000 Acacia trees and tree Sengon 2600 , Thus, the number of trees
in an area of 3.5 hectares is 5,600 Ha. The distance between Sengon and Acacia were
applied 2.5 x 2.5 meters. Spreading of the cover crop was done 2 weeks before the tree
seedlings cultivation performed whereas a maximum of 3 days after preparation of the
planting hole. Sum of the fertilizer needed for Pit Block III - C with the number of plants
5,600 trees, 3.5 ha total area is 2,800 kg. The fertilize consisted of fertilizer organic and
inorganic, each tree takes 0.7-1 kg/tree fertilizer organic. Period of planting with the
human power is required 9 days, 11 people total employment, number of activity hours
are 10 hours / day.
