Abstract
ABSTRAK Daerah penelitian terletak di daerah Banko Barat, Kecamatan Lawang Kidul, Kabupaten Muara Enim, Propinsi Sumatera Selatan. secara geogafis terletak pada 3o42’30”- 4o47’30” LS dan 103o45’ - 103o50’10’’ BT. Berada di Kabupaten Muara Enim terletak ± 247km di sebelah barat daya kota Palembang, ±520 km di sebelah timur Bengkulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode well logging dengan titik bor sebanyak 5 titik bor. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk analisa dari hubungan data log densitas dengan kalori, total moisture serta kandungan abu pada lapisan batubara daerah banko barat, Kecamatan Lawang Kidul, Kabupaten Muara Enim, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa batubara pada daerah penelitian memiliki rata – rata nilai densitas 1,50 gr/cc, total moisture 25,21 %, kalori 6193,11 cal/g dan kandungan abu 2,69%. Dengan menggunakan metode trideline scatterplot bivariant digunakan untuk mendapatkan hubungan korelasi dari 2 variabel, dimana pada daerah penelitian memiliki hubungan kuat – sangat kuat. Dari hasil hubungan antara density dengan total moisture memiliki variasi positif R2 = 0,767 = 76,7%. Hubungan antara density dengan kalori memiliki variasi positif R2 = 0,683 = 68,3%. Hubungan antara density dengan kandungan abu memiliki variasi negative R2 = 0547 = 54,7%. Hubungan kandungan abu dengan kalori memiliki variasi positif R2 = 0,596 59,6%. Hubungan Vshale dengan kandungan abu didapatkan nilai R2 = 0,7617 cenderung kearah positif. Dilihat dari hubungan tersebut kualitas batubara pada daerah penelitian adalah kualitas yang baik dengan nilai kalori > 6.100 kal/g. In geogafis was located at 3o42’30” - 4o47’30” LS and 103o45’ - 103o50’10’’ BT. Being in 247 km muara enim district was located on the southwestern Palembang, 520 km east of Bengkulu. This research method using well logging with drill point as much as 5 point drill. the purpose of this research is the characterization of the relationship of density log data with the calories, total moisture and ash content in coal layer, the western area of banko Lawang Kidul Sub-district, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra Province. The result showed characteristic of coal in the research area having flatened value of density 1,50 gr/cc total moisture 25,21 %, calories 6193,11 cal/g and ash content 2,69 %. By using the trideline scatterplot bivariant method used to get relations correlation of 2 variables, whereby on the research area having strong relations very strong. From the results of the relationship between density and total moisture has a positive variation of R2 = 0,767 = 70.7%. The relationship between density and calorie with positive R2 = 0,683 = 68.3%. The relationship between density and ash content have a variety of negative R2 = 0547 = 54,7%. The relationship between Calorie and ash content of relationship with positive variations have R2 = 0,596 59.6%. the relationship between volume shale and ash content with positive variation have R2 = 0,7617 = 76,17%.
