Administratively, the location of the survey is included in the Village area Hukurila, South Leitimur District, the city of Ambon. Geographically located between 127 ° 28 '51.2" East Longitude - 128 ° 46' 11.2" east longitude and 2 ° 49 '51.5 "south latitude - 3 ° 33' 39.8" South latitude. The research area is divided into five geomorphic units are: the plains, karst topography, hills, mountains, and volcanic systems. The research area is composed by several rock units from old to young is: the ultramafic rock units, granite, sandstone Kanikeh, volcanic breccia rock, units of coral limestone, and alluvial deposits. Geological structures that develop in the region is robust and fault. Fault structures that develop are : Right Slip Normal Fault. To determine levels of Ni in this area, the authors took samples from drill results by using a hand auger at limonit zone and tested using by AAS method. Ni content of the test results with AAS method, obtained the following results: LP 38A 0.50% Ni, LP 38B levels of 0.32% Ni, LP 38C content of 0.31% Ni, LP 37 Ni 0.081%, LP 36 Ni content of 0.70%, LP 35 levels of Ni 0.34%, LP 34 levels of Ni 0.63%, LP 31 levels of Ni 0.18%, LP 22 levels of Ni 0.23%, LP 20 levels of Ni 0.32 %. And it can be concluded that the levels of Ni in the region telitian greatly influenced by the thickness of the zone limonitnya. The thicker limonitnya zone, the greater its Ni content. Sari Secara administratif lokasi survei termasuk dalam wilayah Desa Hukurila, Kecamatan Leitimur Selatan, Kota Ambon. Secara geografis terletak diantara 127° 28’ 51,2” Bujur Timur - 128° 46’ 11,2” Bujur Timur dan 2° 49’ 51,5” Lintang Selatan - 3° 33’ 39,8” Lintang Selatan. Daerah telitian dibagi dalam lima satuan geomorfik ialah : dataran, karst topografi, perbukitan, pegunungan, dan sistem vulkanik. Daerah telitian tersusun oleh beberapa satuan batuan dari tua ke muda adalah: yaitu satuan batuan ultrabasa, satuan batuan granit, satuan batupasir Kanikeh, satuan batuan breksi vulkanik, satuan batugamping terumbu, dan endapan alluvial. Struktur geologi yang berkembang pada daerah telitian adalah kekar dan sesar turun. Struktur sesar yang berkembang adalah: Right Normal Slip Fault. Untuk mengetahui kadar Ni dari daerah telitian, penulis mengambil conto dari hasil bor dengan menggunakan hand auger pada zona limonitnya dan diuji dengan menggunakan metode AAS. Dari hasil pengujian kadar Ni dengan metode AAS, didapatkan hasil sebagai berikut : LP 38A kadar Ni 0,50%, LP 38B kadar Ni 0,32%, LP 38C kadar Ni 0,31%, LP 37 kadar Ni 0,081%, LP 36 kadar Ni 0,70%, LP 35 kadar Ni 0,34%, LP 34 kadar Ni 0,63%, LP 31 kadar Ni 0,18%, LP 22 kadar Ni 0,23%, LP 20 kadar Ni 0,32%. Dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kadar Ni pada daerah telitian sangat dipengaruhi oleh ketebalan dari zona limonitnya. Semakin tebal zona limonitnya, semakin besar juga kadar Ni-nya
