Abstract

Geonine field is one of developed field by PT Pertamina UTC, reservoir in this field is carbonate. The purpose of study is characterization of reservoir using acoustic impedance (AI) model based and elastic impedance (EI) inversion method. AI inversion method use to know the reservoir, because in AI inversion method just have Vp dan ρ parameters, so its only to indentify of lithologi. Therefore using EI inversion method to know the content of this reservoir, parameter of EI inversion method have to add S wave, so get more information about the content of fluid. In this study using full stack seismic to AI inversion, and EI near and EI far to EI inversion. EI near is maked from range of angle 3 0 -17 0 , and 17 0 -30 0 for EI far. From the crossplot analysis show that reservoir have 2 zona, they are porous carbonate and tight carbonate. But zona target in this study is porous carbonate. Characterization of reservoir in this zona, the value AI is 35,000 – 42,000 (ft/s)*(g/cc), EI near value is 25,000 – 29,500 (ft/s)*(g/cc) and EI far value is 10,000 – 11,800 (ft/s)*(g/cc) and the value of porosity is 12 – 13 %. keyword: AI Inversion, EI Inversion, Characterization of reservoir Geonine field is one of developed field by PT Pertamina UTC, reservoir in this field is carbonate.
