Abstract
ABSTRACT The number of people continue to grow causing increased development activities in various sector. An increase in the need for land for settlements with limited land is directly proportional , So that many of; houses was founded in dangerous location. Disaster prone area is one of locations that does not conform to settlement Research in the village Selomarto, District Giriwoyo, Wonogiri. The aim of the present study was.: 1) Knowing the suitability of land for settlements in areas prone to soil mass movement Selomarto Rural District of Giriwoyo, Wonogiri, 2) Knowing the characteristics of existing land in the area of research. Research methods used in the study is the survey method, interviews, overlay, and quantitative analysis with descriptive explanations of each parameter. Land suitability parameters used for settlement on areas prone to mass movements of soil slopes is: insecurity against floods, soil texture, soil thickness, type of soil, weathering of rocks, the power assistance, the rainfall, the vulnerability of ground motion The results obtained from the calculations and measurements in the field, the research areas included in the category of residential areas with land suitability is not suitable for residential areas with a slope to the settlement area ranges from 8 - 25 0 . One of the factors that led to that the land is not suitable for residential areas are located in areas prone to mass movement of soil or landslides. Keyword : Suitability of Land, settlements, Land mass movement INTISARI Jumlah penduduk yang terus bertambah mengakibatkan meningkatnya aktivitas pembangunan dalam berbagai bidang. Peningkatan kebutuhan akan lahan untuk permukiman berbanding lurus dengan terbatasnya lahan, sehingga banyak rumah didirikan di lokasi yang berbahaya. Kawasan rawan bencana merupakan salah satu lokasi yang tidak sesuai untuk permukiman. Penelitian berada di Desa Selomarto, Kecamatan Giriwoyo, Kabupaten Wonogiri. Tujuan dari penelitian kali ini adalah: (1). Mengetahui Kesesuain lahan untuk kawasan permukiman pada daerah rawan gerakan massa tanah Desa Selomarto Kecamatan Giriwoyo, Kabupaten Wonogiri (2). Mengetahui Karakteristik lahan yang ada di daerah penelitan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian kali ini adalah metode survey, wawancara, tumpangsusun (overlay), dan pengharkatan dengan analisa kuantitatif deskriptif terhadap setiap parameter kesesuaian lahan.Untuk parameter yang digunakan yaitu; kemiringan lereng, kerentanan terhadap banjir, tekstur tanah, ketebalan tanah, jenis tanah, pelapukan batuan, kekuatan batuan, curah hujan, kerentanan gerakan tanah. Hasil yang diperoleh dari perhitungan dan pengukuran dilapangan, daerah penelitian termasuk dalam kategori daerah permukiman dengan kesesuaian lahan yang tidak sesuai untuk kawasan permukiman dengan kemiringan lereng untuk kawasan permukiman tersebut berkisar 8 – 25 0 . Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan bahwa lahan tersebut tidak sesuai untuk kawasan permukiman adalah berada pada daerah rawan terjadinya gerakan massa tanah atau tanah longsor.
