Abstract
Daerah penelitian terletak di daerah Mamput dan sekitarnya, Kecamatan Kapuas Tengah, Kabupaten Kapuas, Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Secara geografis terletak pada 1130 18’ 33” - 1150 43’ 38” bujur timur dan 00 41’ 23” lintang utara– 234’ 08” lintang selatan. Daerah telitian memiliki luasan 5 x 3 km2 dengan skala peta
1:12.500 yang berlokasi pada daerah konsesi tambang PT. Pama Persada Nusantara.
Satuan geomorfologi daerah penelitian antara lain Satuan Geomorfik Bukit
Intrusi, Satuan Perbukitan Karst, Satuan Geomorfik Perbukitan Struktural, Satuan
Geomorfik Perbukitan Homoklin, dan Satuan Geomorfik Tubuh Sungai. Pola
pengaliran berupa pola sub dendritik. Daerah penelitian dibagi menjadi 4 (empat)
satuan batuan. Urutan dari tua ke muda sebagai berikut: Komplek Metamorf Busang
( Kapur akhir ), satuan batupasir Tanjung ( Eosen Awal – Eosen Akhir ), satuan
batugamping Berai ( Oligosen Awal – Oligosen Akhir ), Litodem Intrusi Andesit (
Oligosen Awal – Oligosen Akhir ).
Struktur geologi yang ditemukan pada daerah penelitian berupa lipatan Antiklin dan Sinklin, serta didapati berupa kekar-kekar dengan arah umum tegasan
relatif timur laut - barat daya. Berdasarkan analisis aspek fisika, kimia, dan biologi
yang telah dilakukan,satuan batupasir Tanjung diendapkan pada lingkungan Lower Delta Plain sampai Transitional Lower Delta Plain dengan fasies pengendapan The
Muddy Sand dan sublingkungan pengendapan crevasse splay. Analisis lingkugan pengendapan melalui analisis polen dan maseral dapat di simpulkan bahwa kedua
analisis tersebut memiliki keterkaitan dimana dapat di tarik kesimpulan bahwa lingkungan pengendapan batubara pada lokasi telitian adalah Marsh sampai Back
Mangrove.
The study area is located in Mamput and the surrounding area, Central Kapuas District, Kapuas Regency, Province of Central Borneo. Geographicallylocated at 113
0 18 '33 "- 1150 43' 38" east longitude and 00 41 '23"north latitude -20 34' 08" south latitude. Unit geomorphology research areas include intrusion hill
geomorphic unit (V1), karst hills geomorphic unit (K1), structural hills geomorphic unit (S1), homoklin hills geomorphic unit (S2), and stream body geomorphic unit
(F2), Drainage pattern in the form of sub dendritic patterns. The study area was divided into four (4) lithologies. Sequence from young to
old as follows: Busang schist unit (Late Kapur), Tanjung sandstone unit (Eocene),Litodem Andesite (Late Eocene), Berai limestone unit (Early Oligocene - Late
Oligocene), geological structure found in research areas such as folds anticline and syncline, and found to be a folds with the general direction of the shear relative
northeast - southwest. Based on the analysis of aspects of physics, chemistry, and biology that has
been done, Tanjung sandstones unit deposited on the environment Lower Delta Plain
until Transitional Lower Delta Plain with crevasse splay facies sedimentation.
Precipitation of environmental analysis through the analysis of pollen and maceral
have relevance, which can be deduced that the depositional environment of coal in
the region are carefully situations Marsh until Backmangrove.
