ABSTRAK
PT Pertamina EP Asset 4 Field Cepu merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang
bergerak dalam bidang eksplorasi dan eksploitasi minyak dan gas bumi. Perusahaan
memiliki dua jenis Gudang Chemical, salah satunya berada di Nglobo yang
merupakan gudang pengganti dari Gudang Ledok. Pada gudang tersebut, material
bahan kimia disimpan berdasarkan waktu kedatangannya. Material yang tiba,
selanjutnya ditempatkan pada ruang kosong yang tersedia saat itu. Hal ini
mengakibatkan lokasi penyimpanan material tidak menentu dan ditempatkan secara
acak tanpa memperhatikan jenis karakteristik material yang menyulitkan dalam
proses pendataan material. Selain itu, sistem penyimpanan material bahan kimia
yang tidak memperhatikan jenis karakteristik material dapat menimbulkan potensi
terjadinya kecelakaan kerja akibat terpaparnya reaksi kimia pada seseorang seperti
sesak nafas, iritasi pada mata dan kulit, kebakaran, dan hal-hal yang tidak
diinginkan lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengusulkan tata letak
penyimpanan material bahan kimia pada Gudang Chemical Nglobo dengan utilitas
penggunaan ruangan terbaik sehingga dapat memaksimalkan proses penyimpanan
dan pengelolaan material yang tersimpan di dalam gudang.
Alternatif pendekatan permasalahan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini
yaitu metode Share Storage yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kapasitas
penyimpanan maksimal di dalam gudang dan metode ABC Analysis yang
digunakan untuk pengklasifikasian material bahan kimia dengan
mempertimbangkan jenis dan karakteristik material.
Hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan menyimpulkan bahwa usulan tata
letak material bahan kimia memiliki utilitas penggunaan ruangan sebesar 80,72%
dengan persentase penggunaan material kelas A sebesar 80%, kelas B 11%, dan
kelas C 9%.

ABSTRACT
PT Pertamina EP Asset 4 Field Cepu is a company engaged in the
exploration and exploitation of oil and gas. The company has two types of Chemical
Warehouses, one of which is located in Nglobo which is a successor warehouse of
Ledok Warehouse. In the warehouse, chemical materials are stored based on the
time of arrival. Materials that arrive are then placed in the empty space available
at that time. This results in the location of material storage being uncertain and
randomly placed without regard to the type of material characteristics which makes
it difficult to process material data collection. In addition, a chemical material
storage system that does not pay attention to the type of material characteristics
can lead to the potential for work accidents due to exposure to chemical reactions
to a person such as shortness of breath, irritation of the eyes and skin, fire, and
other undesirable things. This study aims to propose a layout of chemical material
storage at the Nglobo Chemical Warehouse with the best use of space so that it can
maximize the process of storing and managing materials stored in the warehouse.
Alternative problem approaches used in this study are the Share Storage
method which is used to determine the maximum storage capacity in the warehouse
and the ABC Analysis method which is used to classify chemical materials by
considering the type and characteristics of the material.
The results of the research that have been carried out conclude that the
proposed layout of chemical materials has a room use utility of 80.72% with a
percentage of class A material use of 80%, class B 11%, and class C 9%.
