Abstract

PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT DALAM MENGELOLA HUTAN
MANGROVEDIDUSUN PASIR MENDIT, DESA JANGGARAN, KECAMATAN
TEMON, KABUPATEN KULON PROGO

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam mengelola
hutan mangrove dan mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi partisipasi
masyarakat dalam mengelola hutan mangrove. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam
penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik penentuan responden
yaitu non probability sampling, respondennya adalah kepala rumah tangga yang tinggal di
lokasi penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan
dokumentasi. Pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber, dan waktu. Teknik
analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, pengujian data, dan penarikkan kesimpulan. Hasil
penelitian ini adalah dilihat dari tingkat partisipasi dilihat dari beberapa hal yaitu
perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pemanfaatan ,evaluasi selanjutnya faktor-faktor yang
mempengaruhi partisipasi masyarakat yaitu usia, pendidikan ,pendapatan dan lama
bermukim.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the level of community participation in managing mangrove
forests and to find out what factors influence community participation in managing mangrove
forests. The type of research used in this research is quantitative with a case study approach.
The respondent determination technique is non-probability sampling, the respondent is the
head of the household who lives in the research location. Data collection techniques used
interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Testing the validity of the data using
triangulation of sources, and time. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data
testing, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are seen from the level of
participation seen from several things, namely planning, implementation, utilization, further
evaluation of the factors that influence community participation, namely age, education,
income and length of stay.
