INTISARI
Mata air panas Panguman Kali Serayu terletak di Desa Sukorejo, Kecamatan
Mojotengah, Kabupaten Wonosobo, Jawa Tengah. Mata air panas tersebut
dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat sekitar untuk mandi dan berendam untuk
menghilangkan lelah. Namun, fasilitas yang tersedia belum memenuhi memenuhi
aspek produk yang ada pada Standar Usaha Pengelolaan Pemandian Air Panas Alami
berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Pariwisata Nomor 27 Tahun 2015. Penelitian
dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menentukan karakteristik mata air panas, mengetahui
potensi mata air panas untuk balneoterapi, dan merancang arahan pengelolaan mata air
panas berupa penataan kawasan untuk wisata dan balneoterapi.
Penelitian yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu survei dan pemetaan, uji
laboratorium, wawancara, analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda, dan
metode evaluasi. Sampel yang diambil di lokasi penelitian berupa sampel air dan
batuan. Pengambilan data perubahan tingkat stress dan kelelahan dilakukan dengan
wawancara dan pengisian kuisioner Fatigue Assessment Scale (FAS) dan skala nyeri
Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). Analisis data perubahan tingkat stress dan kelelahan
dilakukan menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda. Variabel yang digunakan pada uji
regresi linear berganda yaitu; variabel dependen berupa penurunan tingkat stress dan
kelelahan, dan variabel independen berupa intensitas terapi, usia, dan durasi terapi.
Metode evaluasi untuk menentukan karakteristik fluida panas bumi yaitu berdasarkan
diagram segitiga Cl–SO4–HCO3 dan sayatan tipis petrografi. Evaluasi potensi mata air
panas dilakukan berdasarkan interpretasi suhu reservoir panas bumi, kesetimbangan
air panas bumi, kuantitas (debit) mataair, dan kualitas mata air panas berdasarkan
Standar Baku Mutu Pemandian Umum dalam Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan RI No. 32
Tahun 2017.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mata air panas Panguman Kali Serayu memiliki
tipe air bikarbonat, dan hasil dari sayatan batuan menunjukkan adanya alterasi batuan.
Hasil evaluasi potensi mata air panas untuk balneoterapi menunjukkan bahwa mata air
panas Panguman Kali Serayu memiliki potensi untuk balneoterapi yang dapat dikelola
lebih lanjut. Pengelolaan yang dilakukan yaitu berupa penataan kawasan wisata
dengan perluasan lahan objek wisata, dan penambahan fasilitas seperti rekonstruksi
kolam air panas dengan dimensi 5 m x 10 m x 0,75 m, gazebo, kamar mandi, tempat
sampah, dan IPAL berupa unit filtrasi dan sedimentasi, sesuai dengan pemenuhan
aspek produk yang ada pada Standar Usaha Pengelolaan Pemandian Air Panas Alami,
berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Pariwisata Nomor 27 Tahun 2015.

ARRANGEMENT OF TOURISM AREA AND UTILIZATION OF
PANGUMAN KALI SERAYU HOT SPRINGS AS BALNEOTHERAPY TO
REDUCE STRESS AND FATIGUE LEVELS IN SUKOREJO VILLAGE,
MOJOTENGAH DISTRICT, WONOSOBO REGENCY, CENTRAL JAVA

ABSTRACT
Panguman Kali Serayu hot spring is located in Sukorejo Village, Mojotengah
District, Wonosobo Regency, Central Java. The hot springs is used by the local people
for bathing to reduce fatigue. However, the available facilities do not meet the product
aspects in the Business Standards of Natural Hot Springs Management based on the
Regulation of the Minister of Tourism Number 27 of 2015. The research was conducted
to determine the characteristics of hot springs, to know the potential of hot springs for
balneotherapy, and to design hot spring management guidelines for balneotherapy
and tourism.
Research conducted with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The
methods that being used in this research are survey and mapping, laboratory tests,
interviews, data analysis using multiple linear regression, and evaluation methods.
Samples that were taken at the research site are water and rock samples. Data that
were being collected are stress and fatigue levels using interviews and filling out the
FAS questionnaire and the VAS pain scale. Data analysis of changes in stress and
fatigue levels was carried out using multiple linear regression tests. The variables used
in the multiple linear regression test are; the change in stress and fatigue levels as
dipendent variable, intensity of therapy, age, and duration of therapy as independent
variable. The evaluation method was used for determining the characteristics of
geothermal fluids based on a triangular diagram of Cl–SO4–HCO3 and petrographic
sections. The evaluation of hot springs' potential was determined based on the
interpretation of the geothermal reservoir's temperature, the equilibrium of
geothermal water, the quantity (discharge) of the springs, and the quality of the hot
springs based on the Public Bathing Quality Standards in the Regulation of the
Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 32 of 2017.
The results of the study show that the Panguman Kali Serayu hot springs has
a bicarbonate type of water, and the results of the petrographic section indicate there's
a rock alteration. The results of the potential's evaluation of hot springs for
balneotherapy showed that Panguman Kali Serayu hot spring has potential for
balneotherapy that needed to be managed further. The management is carried out in
the form of arrangement of tourism area by expanding the area that will be used for
tourism, and adding facilities such as reconstruction of hot springs with dimensions 5
m x 10 m x 0.75 m, gazebos, bathrooms, trash cans, and WWTPs with filtration and
sedimentation unit in accordance with the fulfillment of existing product aspects on
the Business Standards for Natural Hot Springs Management, based on the Regulation
of the Minister of Tourism Number 27 of 2015.
