Abstract

Process Cut Off Grade (PCOG) perlu dibedakan menjadi ore dan waste, sehingga
metode poligon daerah pengaruh (area of influence).

ABSTRACT
The study was conducted on primary tin ore deposits in the Skarn and
Greisen segments. The existence of potential tin ore is not distinct yet. Based on
minimum average grade for processing or Process Cut Off Grade (PCOG), it is
necessary to differentiate into ore and waste, so that can be known the distribution
of Skarn and Greisen tin grade. The purpose of this study are to (a) identify the
potential presence of tin ore, (b) determine ore and waste based on tin mining cut
off grade and (c) analyze the distribution of potential tin on Skarn and Greisen.
The cut off grade at UPTP Batubesi for Skarn ≥ 0,41% Sn and Greisen ≥ 0,2% Sn.
This study methods included: topography mappling using real-time kinematic
method, sampling with square pattern using grab sampling method, grades
measurement using XRF and estimating the potential tin ore using area of
influence polygon method.
The study results include: potential ore in the form of Skarn outcrops along
the research location and continuously towards East Southeast. The formation of
Skarn deposit are controlled by geological structure, at this research location
geological structure in the form of WNW – ESE faults. Positive potential are in
the form of Skarn ore reserves that lies in the intrusion wall, especially in lode, ie
veins controlled by crack, with an average grade 0,4567% Sn. Negative potential
are in the form of Greisen and waste. Greisen on granite intrusion body has lower
tin grade, indicated as resources with an average grade 0,05% Sn, waste that lies
between Skarn and Greisen in the form of hornfels, controlled by WNW – ESE
faults with an average grade 0,0126% Sn. Largest tin grade is in the Skarn deposit
on the intrusion wall, with highest frequency in grade range 0,1001 – 0,3% Sn
with the number 123 data of 318 data. Greisen on granite intrusion body, with
highest frequency in grade range 0,0001 – 0,025% Sn of 97 data. Based on the
results of the study, a pit monitoring plan is required in accordance to mine
scheduling with field mapping method and tin grades measurement, subsurface
data to create precise vertical subsurface model using test pit method, trenching or
drilling that follows geological structure in the form of WNW – ESE faults,
updating block model data with infill drill and geological reconciliation from
mining front to the processing plant.
