Abstract
Sumberdaya mineral perlu dikembangkan dan dimanfaatkan dengan melakukan penambangan menggunakan berbagai metode dan teknologi yang dijalankan oleh perusahaan pertambangan. Rangkaian kegiatan pertambangan akan menimbulkan dampak terhadap lingkungan, dampak negatif yang timbul akibat penambangan adalah perubahan lingkungan fisik. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan kualitas lingkungan fisik serta faktor-faktor yang berdampak negatif terhadap perubahan lingkungan fisik akibat penambangan bauksit. Penelitian dilakukan pada perusahaan PT. Harita Prima Abadi Mineral Site Air Upas Pit Batu Tangga, Kecamatan Marau, Kabupaten Ketapang, Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survei dan metode analisis kuantitatif-empiris serta metode skoring. Metode survei berfungsi untuk melihat gambaran dan kondisi lingkungan serta mencari data yang diperlukan pada daerah penelitian kemudian metode analisis kuantitatif-empiris bertujuan untuk memberi nilai pada masing-masing parameter sedangkan metode skoring untuk mengetahui perubahan lingkungan fisik berdasarkan suatu nilai yang disusun menurut rangking yang telah dibuat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh tingkat perubahan lingkungan fisik dengan metode skoring pada daerah penelitian termasuk kualitas yang baik, sedangkan dampak negatif terhadap perubahan lingkungan fisik pada daerah penelitian terpengaruh oleh kekompakan batuan, ketebalan solum dan kekeruhan air. Kata kunci : Penambangan, Evaluasi Lingkungan, Dampak Negatif Mineral resources need to be developed and utilized with conduct mining using a variety of methods and technologies that are run by the mining company. The series of mining activities will have an impact on the environment, negative impacts arising from mining is changing the physical environment. Therefore, the research conducted in order to determine changes in the quality of the physical environment and the factors that negatively impact the physical environment changes due to bauxite mining. The study was conducted at the company PT. Harita Prima Abadi Mineral Site Air Upas Pit Batu Tangga, Subdistrict Marau, Ketapang District, West Kalimantan Province. The method of research used survey methods and quantitative-empirical analysis method and the scoring method Survey method is used to see the picture and the environmental conditions and to find the necessary data in the study area then quantitative-empirical analysis method aimed to assign a value to each parameter while scoring method to determine changes in the physical environment based on a value that is arranged according to the ranking which has been made. Based on the results obtained by the rate of change of the physical environment with the scoring method in the study area including good quality, whereas a negative impact on changes in the physical environment in the study area affected by the compactness of rocks, the thickness of the solum and water turbidity.
