Abstract
SUMMARY Diorite needs in Mempawah Regency are increasing due to the construction of the Kijing Port. To fulfill these needs of diorite, exploration needs to be done in the area of Mempawah Regency, West Kalimantan Province using the geoelectric method. This study aims to determine the distribution of massive diorite rock below the surface based on its resistivity value. This research was conducted using the geoelectric method. The geoelectric method used is the 2D resistivity method with the Wenner Schlumberger configuration. The study was conducted as many as 10 lines with a length of 470 meters. From the results of field measurements the resistivity value is obtained. Then from the resistivity value, 2D processing is done using Least Square inversion, then 2D processing can be saved to make 3D modeling. Furthermore, the results of 2D and 3D modeling can be used to see the distribution of massive diorites. 2D modeling using RES2DINV software and 3D modeling using Oasis Montaj software. Based on the results of data processing, the resistivity values range from 6,48 - 7000 Ohm.m. From the resistivity value, it is divided into several stratigraphy, namely humus, Boulder in the soil layer or conglomerate and diorite massive rock. Areas with resistivity values of 6,48 - 4000 Ohm.m are estimated as humus and boulder in the subsoil or conglomerates and resistivity values > 4000 Ohm.m are estimated as massive diorite rocks. Keywords: geoelectric, resistivity, wenner schlumberger, diorite estimate. RINGKASAN Kebutuhan diorite di Kabupaten Mempawah semakin meningkat karena adanya pembangunan Pelabuhan Kijing. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut perlu dilakukan eksplorasi diorit di daerah Kabupaten Mempawah, Provinsi Kalimantan Barat dengan menggunakan metode geolistrik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pesebaran batuan diorite massive di bawah permukaan berdasarkan nilai resistivitasnya. Penelitian kali ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode geolistrik. Metode geolistrik yang digunakan adalah metode resistivitas 2D dengan konfigurasi Wenner Schlumberger. Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak 10 lintasan dengan panjang lintasan 470 meter. Dari hasil pengukuran lapangan didapatkan nilai resistivitas. Kemudian dari nilai resistivitas tersebut, dilakukan pengolahan 2D dengan menggunakan Least Square Inversion, kemudian dari pengolahan 2D dapat disimpan nilainya untuk membuat pemodelan 3D. Selanjutnya hasil pemodelan 2D dan 3D dapat digunakan untuk melihat persebaran diorite massive. Pembuatan model 2D menggunakan software RES2DINV dan pembuatan model 3D menggunakan software Oasis Montaj. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh nilai resistivitas berkisar 6,48-7000 Ohm.m. Dari nilai resistivitas tersebut dibedakan menjadi beberapa stratigrafi, yaitu tanah penutup, Boulder dalam lapisan tanah atau konglomerat dan batu diorite massive. Daerah dengan nilai resistivitas sebesar 6,48 - 4000 Ohm.m diperkirakan sebagai humus dan boulder dalam lapisan tanah atau konglomerat dan nilai resistivitas >4000 Ohm.m diperkirakan sebagai batuan diorite massive.
