Abstract
ABSTRACT Tanjung Jabung West at this time there are many points that indicated coaldeposits and some already exploited by the government and foreign investors,while the coal depositsthat have not been in ekspoloitasi in because of the lack ofinformation about the potential and the investment must be spent to takeadvantage of this potential. Prospecting activities have been obtained from the resource potential thathas been divided into five Blocks of coal-spread spread across two districts,namelyBatang Asam and Renah Mendaluh. Territory mining area in TanjungJabung western mining region belonging to the region keprospekan development(WKKKP). For recommendations coal transport line going through the villageroads and across provinces. After doing a break-even stripping ratio analysis Block-1 is not feasible touse the system as a system of open pit mining, while Block-2-5 feasible usingopen-pit mining system as penambanganya system. Based on the analysis ofsensitivity to changes in selling prices (recoverable value/tons) Block-3 isinsensitive, while Block-1, 2, 4 and 5 are sensitive to changes in selling prices.
